How did YOU find Ultimate Disney.com?
I found this site through the old e-mail newsletters from animated-movies.com (which is now distributed by animated-news.com). There was always a cool links section at the end and one link was of Chernobog's custom DVD cover art (
the wonderful artistic covers with the Spanish titles). From there I found the mainpage and enjoyed checking the site everyday for the latest DVD news! Then there was a reminder for board members to send in their Disney word jumble contest entries so I joined just to play! Then I started posting and here I am today!

As Frank Sinatara Once Sang "It Was A Long Time Ago"
I found it on a cold day in November of 2003 actually. I was looking for Old Yeller on DVD. And I found this site. And I instantly liked it and joined. I have loved this site ever since. This is the best site on the net. Everybody is nice and kind.

I joined about a year ago. It all started while i was searching for Disney Wallpapers for my P.C., when i came across TheDisneyExperience.com. I was browsing the site and found a "links page". On the links page there was a link for UltimateDisney.com and a small caption about it. I was not going to click on the link, but when i read the caption it said: "Learn about upcomming disney movies". I clicked on the link, fell in love with the site, and joined the forum!!

It's so far back I can't remember, but I think I was simply searching for a complete list of animated classics at the time (was just starting to build my Disney collection), and I came across this site. Without any undue bias, I found it to be one of the better ones and started posting on the board.
I think they still had the 'condom board' then, too.
The rest is history...

As a huge Boy Meets World fan, I'd been petitioning for a DVD release for a long time, and was thereby familiar with www.tvshowsondvd.com. One day they posted a bit of information about BMW's release (which really excited me, of course), and credited UD.com as their source. I decided to check out the site, and not only was there BMW info, but it looked like a great site for Disney, which I loved. I kept checking the front page with increasing regularity and eventually the forum, too. Eventually it was some discussion on Pete's Dragon and Bedknobs & Broomsticks that caused me to register, and the Live-Action Countdown that caused me to strike up my first post.

I knew Luke from another message board called DisneySites and we both shared an interest in Disney DVD's. He showed me this site, but I didn't post much on the old condom forums (as we lovingly called them). He kept nagging at me to become more involved with the site, so I started writing reviews for him, and when the site (and boards) got a new makeover, I joined for good, now here I am.

That's exactly how I got here. I was going to say "turned left at Greenland" but the Beatles stole my line and used it in A Hard Day's Night.Satoshi wrote:I believe I first came to be here by clicking on a link in Luke's sig on DVDFile. I'm not completely sure though.

Well, I think it was after renting TLK, then buying it, I got interested in what else Disney had put out. Thru Yahoo! I must've serached for either a complete animated classics list, or info on the Platinums, and quite quickyly found UD! I wandered around the FAQs and informative pages for few days before actually entering the Forums. I immediately signed up, and acted like an idiot to ask you all whether or not to buy SB and PP!
Ah, the good old days....
