Those slipcovers are ugly though (on Amazon UK). I appreciate their effort but they don't look like Disney classics
Also, it looks as if Disney may be getting ready to release Aladdin back in theaters next year in 3D (on 9/18), with plans for the Aladdin: Diamond Edition Blu-ray to include Blu-ray 3D on 10/6. This according to the Disney Wiki. We’ll see.
The list below is the that The Digital Bits based their information off of. Right now I'll take it with a grain of a salt, but it would be awesome if this turned out to be true. You would have me in the theaters opening weekend.

^^^This would be a dream come true. Ever since 3D came out, "Aladdin" was/is my most wanted film in the format. If this news is true, I will def go see it in theaters AND buy the 3D Blu!!

I hope this is true, I never got a see Aladdin in theaters. I was 4 at the time, I don't think I had been to a theater at that age. I've already had the chance to see most of the favorite movies in theaters one way or another through re releases, but Aladdin is the last one on a short list I really need to see in all their theatrical glory.

I would just hope they don't screw up as badly as they did with the Lion King, ie the missing clouds and pointless color pallet changes.

Hi Sotiris,

Will you be doing a new thread for 2015? :)

To be honest, I have the indication that "Aladdin" was finally green-lit to be released on Diamond Ediition due to Robin Williams' death. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but it's still remarkable that Disney never officially announced it before.

Can´t believe there´s no word on the left titles to be released on BD.

Not to mention when some of the already released BD will make it to Europe/Spain; The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, The Great Mouse Detective and Winnie Pooh.

I know. I was thinking the same thing. There's only 5 titles that haven't been announced. They could release all of them this year if they wanted to.

I did a disney US haul at Christmas. Winnie the Pooh, Rescuers and Great Mouse detective.
I decided not to wait for Disney UK to get its S!*t together. Got some UK sized blu ray cases - just got to reprint some artwork.

Hope Disney releases something new this year or 2015 is going to be very boring on the animated front. Big Hero 6 and that's about it. It's possible Disney may release an even better, even sparklier Frozen with more Let it Go!
Settling Soul mates? That is grim. And I've played Monopoly alone.

Hmph. I hope Disney doesn't let us down now, with only Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, Melody Time and The Black Cauldron needing blu-ray releases. I especially want the Saludos/Caballeros 2 Movie Collection. Something tells me that what with these being niche titles and Disney's slowly crumbling commitment to blu-ray, these may never be released. I hope I'm wrong.

What I don't get is, assuming these films don't make it to blu-ray, what alternative ways exist to see them in HD? I know there's Disney Movies Anywhere (which has HD versions of Saludos, Caballeros and Cauldron, but not MMM and Melody Time) but it's not available in my country ... and in any case I watch movies on my large TV and not my computer screen!

Here in the UK, Sky Disney has both Cauldron and Caballeros in HD available. Cauldron is more or less a straight HD upgrade but Caballeros has clearly been through...a 'restoration', it's very clean, bright and lacking in fine detail!

I'd hope for a new Pocahontas release with If I never knew you put back in but I know my chances of that are less than zero.
It's sad that I reach for the DVD more than the blu-ray.

Black Cauldron had to come this year...surely? I know Disney hates it but they can't keep it from us.

I highly doubt it will happen, considering how Disney neglects it. And they definitively should re-release it on Blu ray, considering that many of it's bonus features from the Laserdisc wasn't imported to the blu ray. The same goes for "Hunchback" as well. I know that I'm repeating myself, but I can't help it.

Disney Movie Club has 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure Blu-Ray as part of next month's featured title. Haven't seen it announced for release or listed on amazon etc. Probably a pre-release like they have been doing for a lot of titles over the past few years. Still seems odd to not even have it announced though. It lists the release date as Feb 10, 2015, but that could be just for the site.

Zero interest here, but if anyone who does buy the sequels when Disney doesn't force you to is interested there it is.

This. Sigh. Hunchback's Blu-ray was such a massive let-down. Oh, well. At least it got a CAPS sourced transfer. Poor Rescuers Down Under can't say the same thing... Were there any other transfers besides that one that were really lacking? I mean, ASIDE from Sword in the Stone? (Now THERE'S something we need to petition Disney about! That Blu-ray is a disgrace. I, personally, refused to buy it and have stuck with my 45th Anniversary DVD.) I understand there was a big kerfuffle over the use of DNR in Aristocats and Oliver & Company? And that Tarzan suffers from a lot of weird problems? (The last one is just what I've read about on Blu-ray.com's review, etc.). And obviously we know that Cinderella was mishandled as well. But, what else? I don't want to open up the Beauty and the Beast/Lion King/Fantasia can of worms... Strictly talking TRANSFERS here.

The thing that irked me the most (as well with the other blu ray-releases) is the lack of bonus features, as well as old as the new ones. "Hunchback" had some features from the Laserdisc, but as with "Pocahontas", not all of them were imported to the blu ray.
