The only Christmas shows I watched this year were the I Love Lucy Christmas Special and the Disney Parks Frozen Chrsitmas Celebration. Lucy was great as always. The Disney Special sucked. Thirty minutes of boring families "reuniting" at Disney Parks. 10 minutes of parades. The rest was sucky musical performances by people no one will remember in a year. Trisha Yearwood did a nice job on Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Staging Let It Go as a hymn-like number with background singers in choir robes was really kind of offensive to me. They used to do Joy to the World or some other religious song to close the show. I have to say Disneyland looked much more beautiful and enchanting than Walt Disney World in this show. Maybe because so much of WDW is under construction they showed the same areas over and over. But New Fantasyland can't hold a candle to California Adventure/Carsland. I don't think they ever left MK at WDW.
