A Disney classic. Looks great on Blu. Haven't watched it for a few years.



1st time viewing. Missed it on TV last year. Decent. It's cool to see how the animation in this series has evolved from the first movie.

Hocus Pocus - haven't watched it in years and I forgot how good it is.
The Nightmare Before Christmas - one of my favourite films although I am still in the middle as to whether this is a Halloween or a Christmas film.
The Corpse Bride - not as good as The Nightmare before Christmas but still enjoyable.

Fun movie. Reminds me of the movies I grew up with when I was a kid, like the Goonies. Speaking of which...



Oct 26 is Goonies Day. So did my annual viewing of my most favorite movie as I do each year for Halloween.



Another childhood favorite. Haven't watched for awhile.



Haven't watched the sequel in years. Finally found it in the discount bin at Walmart. I think because of all the sight gags, I prefer this one to the first.

1st time viewing. Compared to the first one, I couldn't believe how boring this one was.



Slow, but I love the atmosphere of this one. Looking forward to the sequel next year.



I don't know why this one got all the flack. I do enjoy this one.



Snowballs !?! SNOWBALLS !?! Where's the ****ing Twinkies ?!? A new classic. 'nough said. Bill Murray steals the show.



An annual favorite. Wolfman still got nards!

And, the final one, the one connecting to the next big holiday...



Great music. Great animation.

I actually will see one more movie. Got a coupon for Dracula Untold but didn't have time to see it before Halloween. Will probably go see it on Monday. Now before I get into Christmas movies, gonna watch some war movies in the lead-up to Remembrance Day. Decent marathon this year. Better than last year.

Forgot one! I also saw an encore screening of the National Theatre Live’s filming of Danny Boyle's Frankenstein starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller! They double cast the show so the version that I saw was with Cumberbatch as the creature and Miller as the doctor. It was really wonderful. It's a darn shame that the legality of these NTL things prevent DVD releases.
