Best Disney DVD Ever Round Three: Pixar
Best Disney DVD Ever Round Three: Pixar
It's another round! Vote for your favorite of the Pixar DVD's. Mine is Monsters, Inc. Its supplements are both in-depth and fun and I hope Pixar goes back to this style of DVD for The Incredibles next year.
Winners so far:
Round One: Animated Classics - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: Platinum Edition
Round Two: Live Action - Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl - Collector's Edition

No, no. Not out of the water...out the door (keeping with the Monsters, Inc. themelord-of-sith wrote:Lets hope the Incredicles DVD blows it out of the water!
I wasn't too fond of the way they did the Finding Nemo DVD (putting widescreen on one disc and full frame on the other). I hope they change it back for The Incredibles DVD.
Well I think the Ultimate Toy Box is pretty much the complete and perfect collection, and that will get my vote. But the Monsters, Inc. DVD has it beat in some ways. A Bug's Life was the first special DVD they did, so if it kind of feels light in retrospect, it's forgivable. Finding Nemo, on the other hand, was a great DVD, but just weaker than the previous ones. As it's the most recent, there's no excuse!
"Fifteen years from now, when people are talking about 3-D, they will talk about the business before 'Monsters vs. Aliens' and the business after 'Monsters vs. Aliens.' It's the line in the sand." - Greg Foster, IMAX chairman and president

Well, obviously Ultimate Toy Box is the winner.
But as far as a single film goes, I'd agree that Monsters Inc. is the best little set.
Love 'em all, but Nemo is a bit fluffier than the others though.

The only one I don't have is the Ultimate Toy Box. It's obviously the best set, though. I agree that Monsters, Inc. is the runner-up.
