Really wish Target hadnt stopped the digibook sets.

The jealousy. The UK did get the better peasant dress cover but the rest of it was a joke. I'd love the best buy version but no shipping to UK so I guess I'll import the standard edition from Amazon. This isn't even my favourite Disney film but I seem to accumulate copies of it.unprincess wrote:its the Best Buy version for me. I would have gotten the other version if they had Aurora in anything but her pink dress...

Nothing other than the exclusive packaging, the discs will be identical to the regular release.DisneyJedi wrote:Other than the new cover art, what does the Best Buy exclusive have that the others don't?
But they didn't stop the digibook sets! You must have missed this:unprincess wrote:its the Best Buy version for me. I would have gotten the other version if they had Aurora in anything but her pink dress...

Oh. Thanks.Escapay wrote:It's not a digibook, it's a book packaged with the standard Blu-Ray case. They did the same for The Jungle Book this past February.
Tell me about. We don't get slipcovers, combo packs, digipacks, store exclusives like lithographs and different artwork. We did get some nice DVD/book sets once upon a time but we never got them for Cinderella, Aladdin and TLK (and with the sketches and cell).Deco King wrote:I'm disgusted by Disney's total lack of customer care when here in the UK we got the Sleeping Beauty early I guessed wrongly that we were to get the same USA Blu Ray but no we get one lousy Blu Ray which is simply the one disc from the previous Blu Ray release in a new box with NO NEW EXTRAS!
Does anyone know if the exclusive "packaging" is referring to JUST the slipcover having the different artwork or will the case have the exclusive artwork as well?stevemcqueen wrote:Nothing other than the exclusive packaging, the discs will be identical to the regular release.DisneyJedi wrote:Other than the new cover art, what does the Best Buy exclusive have that the others don't?

Second picture:Art of Evil: Generations Of Disney Villains – This legacy piece spotlights Disney’s favorite villain animator, Marc Davis and his infamous creations of characters such as Maleficent and Cruella. Throughout the piece, we will talk to modern day animators like Andreas Deja and also the new generation of Animators (Lino DiSalvo Animation Director of FROZEN) on how Marc’s designs and characters influenced what they do today.
Third picture:‘Once Upon A Parade’ (Starring Sarah Hyland) - Behind every attraction, event and parade at the Magic Kingdom is a unique story.
Join Sarah Hyland from ABC’s “Modern Family” as she tells us the tale of Walt Disney World’s new Festival Of Fantasy Parade. This magical “in world” short film goes behind the scenes of the new parade and shows how the residents and characters of Fantasyland created this parade to tell their stories.
Never Before Seen Deleted Scenes:
o The Fair (With Deleted Character – The Vulture) – In this version of the story, the fairies do not take the Princess to live with them in the forest. Convinced that King Stefan's order to burn all the spinning wheels in the kingdom will not prevent Maleficent's curse, the good fairies put a magic circle around the castle and cast a spell: "No evil thing that walks or flies or creeps or crawls can ever pass these castle walls."
o The Curse is Fulfilled - The three good fairies have just returned Aurora to the castle and give her a crown. They leave the room to give Aurora some time alone…but Maleficent pays her a visit.
o Arrival Of Maleficent (Alternate Scene) – Maleficent arrives uninvited to the christening of the Princess Aurora.
Yeah, I'm not at all interested in 'once upon a parade'. I've never watched the 'New Fantasyland' feature on The Little Mermaid so this doesn't catch my interest.Atlantica wrote: I will only double dip if the features are of a good enough length I think.

Likely it will be the 2001 dub unfortunately as Disney doesn't care about the fans. Such a shame as even though I don't speak Spanish I can clearly tell the old voices are better especially Maleficent's. Spain does not have their own dub. They also got the redub Latin America got in 2001.Marce82 wrote:Wow... thats a great cover for Best Buy.
And now MY main question is: which SPANISH dub will the AMERICAN release of the film have (1959 or 2001)? (I'm sure the European one has the one made in Spain around 2000)...
I don't suppose anyone knows.... do you?
