GoGo Tomago remains to be the most advertised out the other group members..
Hm... Does this mean that she'll be more popular than Honey Lemon? This is interesting!

I can't decide if these were hand drawn or CG but they all look great.
Talk about a diverse cast, these characters are so different from each other!

Does anyone think that this might not be the final designs? I mean, honey lemon is blonde, not a red head..

And yes, she does have a tattoo!

Disney Animation Suits Up for “Big Hero 6” Release

Disney Details a New, Boy-Centric Animated Movie
http://mobile.nytimes.com/2014/09/04/bu ... &referrer=

Wasn't the whole "thing" with Tangled that it's equally for boys and girls? I mean, clearly from a merchandise standpoint, Tangled and Frozen were more girl-oriented, and more boy-oriented for Wreck-It Ralph. But boys and girls both enjoy the movies, right? BH6 is being called "boy-centric" in the articles, and obviously the 2 main characters are male, but I'm sure girls will love the film, especially with GoGo and Honey Lemon providing some grrrl power.

Since when is puberty something that causes "trouble"? Puberty is literally all over American media. Openly talked about fairly often, lots of times in a joking manner, as it is here.

Lol, yeah. My thoughts exactly... Never thought anyone would think that mentioning puberty (especially in such general terms) was even remotely inappropriate or risqué...

Anyway, I like the character models.

Reason why I think parents might be a bit mad is because their children will be exposed to it at an age when they can go online and search for it, and no to mention, when they might not be ready for it.
I know that it'll be the parents fault for allowing open and free access to the web, but at the same time, I feel like you shouldn't ambush the parents by mentioning it in a movie that is, for all intense and purposes, aimed at kids.
I'm kinda on that boat... I feel like this is one of those topics that should only be approached if both parties (the parents and the kid) are ready for the discussion.

On the other hand... I did feel like Hiro's voice sounded a bit too old for him, but as soon as Baymax said puberty, I figured it out.

I hope these are the final designs b/c I really like them. And now that we have clear lineup to compare, I really love the girls. They are really unique, Gogo with her flat chest & hippy body, Honey long, angular & gauky...I see no princessy pixie cuteness here...

The one that bugs me the most if Fred b/c I swear Ive seen this design b4 somewhere. I know theres been a lot of Shaggy from Scooby Doo comparisons but thats not it, he reminds me of another character...I just cant figure out who!

Ooo, that's neat! Especially that both sides went out of their way to contact the writer. I wonder what other blogs/websites they must follow.

I'm glad Disney maintained it's power over Marvel. One of my initial concerns was whether this would be a fully Disney-produced film, and this conflict confirms that Disney had no outside influence and are making the film they wanted. It kind of bothers me that Pixar is involved in the film making progress, even though it's largely passing comments.

Although I do hope WDAS will one day make a film intended for older audiences, I would like that to occur on their own accord, when they feel they are ready for it and when they know how to tackle it. It's their risk and only they are aware if they are prepared to accept it. To impose such a burden/creative fetter on Disney (simply because they previously owned the characters and published the comics) and then get upset about it is a bit childish. Disney have been building their brand for decades, a largely unrelated and subordinate entity will not be derailing that. Walt Disney films are for all audiences, no alienation there.

The weird costume one (the one with the big eyes) for some reason makes me think of Samurai Jack.

So glad to finally be exposed to some of the team.
So far, the only member that I don't like is Fredzilla. I think his suit is just disgusting and weird...

It frustrates me how we still haven't heard Wasabi or Honey Lemon. It's great we see them in costume though

So far, everything that is posted is on pre-order. I see that Disney learned their lesson from Frozen.

The only thing that sold out instantly was a limited edition pin set. It was limited to 300 worldwide.

I found this article taking issue with how much they changed Honey Lemon from the comics. The one thing I noticed they take issue with is the fact that she is no longer the Ms. Fanservice that she was in the comics but is instead more of a dorky girl. It also goes on to say about the fact that they downgraded her character to fit the girly girl counterpart even though she was that in the original comics.
