Q: If there was going to be a Toy Story 4, would the characters from this special be in it?

Galyn Susman: There's a lot of 'if's in there. It's impossible to know. We love all of our Toy Story characters so who knows what we'll do next and what we'll make and who will be in it. I think the only guarantees are usually the core gang. We love them all. We'll just keep trying to come up with ways to keep them alive for you.

Kristen Schaal: I'm just going to say 'yes'. There will be a fourth movie and they are all going to be in it.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions, because I know of least 5 of you guys do it every day, Kristen was just trying to be funny (and succeeded). Don't think for a second she was being serious.

It did read as if she might be telling a joke, but wasn't 100% sure. I don't doubt a Toy Story 4 will come in the future though.

You don't need to have a feeling, she does this at all of her panels. She gets asked a question we all know we cant or isn't allowed to answer, so she exaggerates for comedic effect. At the gravity falls panel they were asked how many seasons it would go, and she something like "100 seasons and a trilogy". Its the same thing here.

Pixar needs to focus on original films now & not more squeals. It's why they're in the predicament they're in now post Cars 2. Inside Out should be the only thing they should be focusing on right now, not a 4th Toy Story film, which is doing fine with it's ABC shorts anyway.

I think their predicament has more to do with bad films--and that includes the original, Brave. Whether or not they make a TS4 has nothing to do with the quality of Inside Out, Dia de los muertos, or the dinosaur movie (whatever it was called).

I have to admit it's a bit selfish, but I'd rather see continuous TS sequels rather than original films, since I at least like the TS franchise.

Well, from my perspective, Cars 2 sucked because Cars sucked. TS2 and TS3 were great because TS was great. There's always the possibility they'll stumble, but I don't expect a trainwreck whatever happens.
