He's still playing The Knave. They're bring The Knave over to Once Proper.

Disney's Divinity wrote:No, I mean, what role he might play in the story? Particularly coming into Frozen/"The Snow Queen." Actually, now that I think of it, it would be interesting if Anastasia (his love interest from Wonderland) was the Anna from the fairy tale who must save the Knave from the Snow Queen?
The film is only eight months old, but earned $1,272,346,009. Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are essentially resuming the film on the show. (Has that happened before?) The show is really desesperate for ratings. Fact. Fact. Fact.Disney's Divinity wrote:Only someone who has no idea what they're talking about would consider the use of Frozen "desperate." You've admitted you haven't watched beyond the first 8 episodes which was 3 years ago, so how would you of all people have any idea about what the show has become? It's perfectly fine if you don't like the show or feel it's a bad, imo (and good riddance, I say), but there is nothing desperate here. If anything, you could say the film was possibly pushed for by executives, but there is also the slim possibility that the creators of the show were inspired by the same movie that blew up in the media and enjoyed it just as much as most people. Another thing that is beyond understanding for you, apparently, if the Frozen thread is any indication.
Well, I'm expecting it to be sharper. Dan Fogelman is a good writer.Disney's Divinity wrote:[Into the Woods will unquestionably be superior to this show, but Galavant? The show will only be good for the music and will probably be cancelled before the season's over. The actors and the humor already look unimpressive. It is what it is, but to pretend it's going to be something profound is beyond hopeful wishing and breaching delusional. I wish it well, however, for Alan Menken's sake if nothing else.
I don't think its 'desperate for ratings' as the show is doing very well, and regularly does the best for the evening with their time slot demographic and DVR too. Everyone from the show regularly tweets about it to say thank you to everyone who watched.Old Fish Tale wrote:The show is really desesperate for ratings. Fact. Fact. Fact.
Uh, no. The film will be close to a year old by the time the show begins airing, and "The Snow Queen" is more than a century old. There's also the point that they've "The Snow Queen" is one of the few well-known stories they haven't done yet, so it was coming eventually so why not now? They also featured "Rapunzel" on the show, but unlike with this fairy tale they decided not to borrow much from the Disney film. But the show hasn't even aired yet, so we don't know if it's going to be exactly like the film beyond the basic relationships/costumes. They borrowed heavily from the Disney version of "The Little Mermaid" last year, but that storyline was still very different from the Disney film and the fairy tale.Old Fish Tale wrote:The film is only eight months old, but earned $1,272,346,009. I would love it if Ana appeared with Will in the next season, then again, I'd really like to see Jafar as well. And I really like how you have connected Will to Frozen with the death of his sister, I could totally see that being worked into the show.DisneyDude2010 wrote:I really hope the Red Queen (from OUATIW) will make an appearance as Will is confirmed to appear and that she is Will's true love
Disney's Divinity I really like your theory about Will! Personally, I feel that if Will was to be linked to the Frozen characters in anyway it would be through the death of his sister, who as Will stated, died in frozen water when they were younger
Why don't you just buy the UK blu-rays? The Season 1+2 pack costs 31,25 GBP on amazon.co.uk at the moment which is about $53. The US DVDs of Season 1 and 2 are $45 combined which isn't far off and if you include shipping, it should be about the same price or even more. Add to that, that you'll have to wait weeks for the US DVDs, that you'll get DVDs instead of Blu-rays and that the Blu-rays in fact include exclusive bonus features (at least in the US, I assume it's the same in the UK), I don't see a reason, why anybody from Europe would pick up the US DVDs over the local Blu-rays.Atlantica wrote:Disney's Divinity … agree whole-heartedly with your post![]()
I'm a little nervous now though about the DVDs ….. wondering if its worth just going for blu anyway, but its over $20 more …. and with no difference in bonus features it seems
Ah, I see. Somehow I thought you just wanted to start with the series.^^Atlantica wrote:Scamander, I own seasons 1 and 2 on iTunes, it was season 3 I'm after.
The UK have not got a scheduled release date for season 3, which is what I've ordered, and I've contacted iTunes UK and they said they have no current plans to add Once Season 3 to their listing.
If we get the home release it will be December time, if at all. So I thought I'd get mine now, as the pre-order price isn't bad.
nice, I can see him as Hans. So this is basically gonna be an unoffical sequel...I hope we get some backstory for the him.moviefan12 wrote:We have two more casting announcements John Rhys-Davies will be providing the voice for Pabbie

Gosh, a US iTunes account ?! How do I make one of those ?! Can I even make one ?Scamander wrote:Ah, I see. Somehow I thought you just wanted to start with the series.^^Atlantica wrote:Scamander, I own seasons 1 and 2 on iTunes, it was season 3 I'm after.

Personally, I'd still stick with the blu-rays, but if the price is more important to you than HD quality, the DVDs should work just fine on your region free player. I never had a problem with imported region 1 DVDs and as far as I know NTSC discs work on every PAL player.
Keep in mind though, that you will likely have to pay customs in addition to the price of the DVD box and the shipping. You might as well just create an US iTunes account and download season 3 for $35 (SD) or $40 (HD).
