Disney Store's Halloween Catalog

Post by AwallaceUNC »

I just got the newest Disney Store catalog in the mail, this one being for the Halloween season. If you have a Disney store near you, call or go out and pick this one up! Hey, it's free, and the cover is worth it! The villains design on the front is so cool. Hopefully someone here can scan it in.

It's also offering some of the best villains merchandising I've seen from Disney in years. There're lots of Halloween costumes too. Most of them are pretty good, but the Ursula one has got to go- it looks nothing like her... why bother? (If someone can scan that in too, that would be cool)> Surprisingly, they even have a Home on the Range costume!

This comes in perfect timing for the current villains frenzy here at UD and the ever-nearing Halloween season, which I'm getting pumped for! (It felt like October weather here today... odd).

Ok, you can request a copy here: http://disney.store.go.com/DSCatalogReq ... =DS_FOOTER

You can see the design of the cover (although it's cut off on the sides and smaller) on the left-side of this page: http://disney.store.go.com/DSSectionPag ... AVL1P4_IMG

Here is the "Ursula" costume: http://disney.store.go.com/DSSectionPag ... _Id=165634

Cool stuff there! And as JakeLipson pointed out to me in chat, DisneyStore.com has had a facelift!

Thanks for the information. I can either take the subway to Washington National Airport or the bus to Tyson's Corner Mall. Once I get the catalog I'll look at the costumes.

Hi, thanks for the info! I'm not sure if The Disney Store in the UK produce a catalogue. I used to have something called The Disney Catalogue delivered to my home but I don't think they do it any more (its been ages since I last had one and when I phone them the number isn't recognised) which is a shame. I really like the light up Cruella Hell Hall but although it can be shipped to me your plugs are different!! Maybe there is a way round that.
I especially like the snowglobes that are available in the stores!! Disney make some fantastic collectables!!

I'm pretty sure you can purchase an adapter that lets you plug US prongs in one end and the other end into your receptical. I'd check out local/online electronic and/or hardware retailers.

Yes, adaptors are easy to find over here. Try Tandy or Maplin.

Of more concern are the Cancer causing chemicals! :o
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Who on earth heard of cancer causing chemicals in an ornament????????
I was looking on www.snopes.com the other day and found out that the ingredient cochineal is basically ground beetles!! I am now going to check all labels!! YUCK!!!!
I'll be sure to look out for one of those adapter plugs!! Shame I'll have to pay custom charges on top!
Thanks for the info!!

Cool .. thanks for posting. I agree w/ the Urszula costume .... who would buy that when it does not look nothing like her .... they'll have tons left over which will go on sale. I'm a costume collector and none of these really appeal to me. The wicked witch one is pretty good.

Can't wait for Halloween .... one of my favourite days of the year.

That Ursula costume looks more like a Hades costume! What on earth are they thinking! I should be getting my magazine anytime now, I hope.

I agree! The catalog cover looks very cool and I hope to get my hands on one to see the whole thing! Also, that costume is horrible. It's great if you don't know who it is supposed to be, but...since when is Ursula skinny and have blue hair? lol! The other costumes look great and definitely seem worth the price. I really would love the Captain Hook costume! The Genie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy costumes look really funny with the head/mask. With any costume like that, it looks as if the character you are supposed to be masquarading as has actually eaten you and you are trying to pop out of the mouth! I also love the cow one! It looks hilarious!

I tried to sign up to get the catalogue delivered, but I'm too young by one year! I'll have to wait until Nov 9th and I'll be legal, lol.

Get Escapay to sing up, then. He's the older brother, right?

Yes, he is the older brother. But I don't think he's open to your suggestion because he doesn't like singing a lot. Unless it's like a Disney song he can't get out of his head and he's cleaning something (To whistle while you work...(whistles)...), lol. j/k, Aaron.

Hehe, I know what you meant. I'll ask him when he wakes up. I got him to sign up for a brochure from DLP, I'm sure he'll sign up for a catalogue :) .

They don't have nearly the selection they did last year for little kids :x I guess I'll be looking elsewhere for toddler costumes.

I actually passed by the Ursula costume about three times while searching for it after everyone was complaining about it  I have my doubts the designer ever saw the Little Mermaid.

I finally got my catalouge at the Disney Store today! My heart skipped two beats.
1. When I saw that awesome Jafar costume!
2. When I saw those two pages filled with villain cups, plates, costers, wine glasses, and so on... Now, when people ask me what I wan't for christmas, I'll just show them those two pages!

This is certainly one of the best issue covers ever! Tied with last years Halloween one! I hope they sell this cover in a frame like they had been doing with some of their cover art for a couple catalouges.

No that Catalog cover was from the year before. Last Years Catalog had Maleficent, Cruella, and Hook around a cauldron.

I went to the Disney Store that is north of me. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a copy of the new catalog. I will try again next week. I did see a lot of merchandise related to Disney's Princess line, but no costumes.
