Apparently, we're getting 7 more Palace Pets this year.

Disney's newest Princess extension, Disney Princess Palace Pets, is a new direction for the franchise that taps into a younger demographic (girls ages 3 to 7) and introduces a new cast of characters. Launched in summer 2013 with companion mobile content, Palace Pets has sold more than 1 million units since its debut. The app has nearly 5 million downloads and the property includes 40 books and e-books with more in the pipeline. The app has been translated into six languages and features 19 Palace Pets characters, with seven additional characters launching this year. DCP will further expand with standalone magazines and has started to develop Palace Pets short form content as well.

Thanks for sharing! I think this is the first time we've seen Cinderellas new design in motion (not including her CGI appearance).

The animation is not that good, though.

It looks like Snow White is getting a puppy and Aurora a pet fox. We don't know their names yet though. The image was taken at this year's DCP Holiday Showcase in New York.

Seriously, aside from the unnatural colors of the animals, how come no one at Disney found how disturbing it is to have given them the same hairstyle as the princesses themselves?

Is there a specific total of pets that are planned or will they going to keep making more and more? Aren't they afraid that too many characters may harm the product line?

Sadly I don't know what are their plans about the future of this products line.
I can only see where we're going by the pets they are regularly ask me to design and there should be much more to come in the future judging by those I already done.
I also have to ask them again if I can post and share some of my artworks about the new pets which are yet released because I couldn't last time I asked permission...
If there will be another post on my sites/pages, I will let you know here for sure.

Is it a male dog? He doesn't have lashes.

This would be the second male animal in this series after Sultan.
