^Yeah, I grew up on that. :p

Anyway, I love dolls but don't have a collection. Maybe someday when I have the extra money and space? I almost bought a Belle Brass key porcelain doll from a thrift store about a week ago, but she wasn't in the best shape and I really have no place to put her right now.

I see nothing wrong with it. I don't own many dolls myself, but not because I'm ashamed or not. It's only that I don't find many dolls that are any good. I do see some occasionally while surfing Google, but they're random and hard-to-find depending on when they were released. The only doll I have right now is the Mattel Ursula doll, but my grandmother has one of Belle in her red dress from The Enchanted Christmas that I would really like to have if anything ever happens to her.

As for your question about whether collectors play with their toys--for myself, I don't "play" with them, but I do take them out of their boxes and hold them/look at them. I feel that I'm buying these because I want them, and not so my grandchildren can sell them for X amount of money when I'm dead. I would never sell the things I buy unless something very very desperate happens, so I have no desire to keep them in their boxes/unwrapped.

Those "dolls" are not toys at all, those are limited edition items.
bruno, I probably could find this out on Amazon or something, but how much do those dolls cost? I'd like to get Eric/Ariel. Also, do they sell the dolls separately, because I wouldn't mind getting Aladdin, but I have 0 interest in Jasmine. Possible The Prince, too.

Each couple is $129.95

They don't sell them separately.

But they are sold out at disneystore.com

If you want them, you should try amazon or ebay.

Thank you very much! :) Would you like pics from all three or just the 'Art of' books? I'm going to PM them to you in order to not derail this thread.

Question, why does Rapunzel comes without Flynn?

Also, I´m guessing the mugs came with them...right?

The mugs are from the same collection, but they didn't come with the dolls.

I rescue the post because I just remembered something.

I opened the post asking if I should buy Jasmine in order to pair him with my Aladdin doll. Now, I may have another reason to get her. And that´s that a cousin bought me a Genie doll. As such, now I have 2 of the 3 movie dolls available. So, what would you do?

1. As a guy, just stay with Aladdin and Genie.

2. If I´m such a fan of the movie should also get Jasmine.

Thanks

I say, get Jasmine to complete your set. I mean, I collect Disney plushies and had gotten a Timothy The Mouse stuffed animal but I knew I wanted Dumbo to go with him and so a few years after, I got Timothy, my mom bought me Dumbo from The World of Disney store in New York City as she knew that I wanted both characters and now, I have both.

Thank you.

Might do it.

Another question, why dolls are cheaper than plush dolls? I´d think that the material used in regular dolls would be more expensive.

"I keep telling you they're action figures! Why would you think I collect dolls!"
Other Person: "The box of that says "doll"

This is DisneyFTW1, a former Youtube account that was terminated by Disney themselves. My current Youtube Account is FilmFTW2 (FilmFTW1 was terminated). Youtube sucks when it comes to film uploads, and it sucks even more when major corporations are following your channels. But what can I do?
