Only Aladdin has been announced in the United States. The sequels may be released shortly after, but nothing official has come about them, and there is no collection of the 3 films.

Wow, very cool! I wonder what the chances are of them being released as a trilogy in the states? At least this confirms that releasing the sequels on DVD is on Disney's mind.

Welcome, Kevin! :D

So far, in the states we're only getting the first film on DVD. I wouldn't buy the other two movies mainly because I just didn't like them. I only want the first one. My mom wants me to get Aladdin on DVD just because Clay Aiken is singing a song on it that was supposed to be in the movie.

There's not a 4-Disc edition. The Aladdin Platinum Edition is just a 2-Disc set. If you were in the UK and got the trilogy box, that would then be a 4 Disc set: The Platinum Edition (Aladdin Special Edition Disc, Aladdin Special Features Disc), Return of Jafar disc, and Prince of Thieves disc.

I really hope they release the other two movies in the US on DVD. My Return of Jafar tape is worn to bits, and I can't seem to find a good copy of King of Theives anywhere, I haven't seen it since it first came out.

I feel confident that Disney will release the two sequels, quite possibly on the same day, in late 2004 or early 2005.

There is an Aladdin trilogy planned for release in the UK!! It is due out on October 4th 2004 and is priced at ÂŁ32.99 (EUR 49.24). I guess the UK is one of the few places that is getting the trilogy releases. You can find it on www.play.com but at the moment they haven't posted a picture of what the set will look like, maybe in a few weeks or so that will go on. I bought the Lion King region 1 gift pack so I won't be buying the trilogy release. I think I'll go for the Aladdin trilogy, though, as I missed out on the King of thieves when it was available so in october I will have them all!!! Hope this helps, maybe The Netherlands will get one too!!

We will get a 2-disc set and a 4-disc set in The Netherlands. That 4-disc set is probably the Trilogy (2 discs for the first movie, 1 disc for the second movie and 1 disc for the third movie).
Disney's musical Tarzan. Coming to Holland 2007.

The 4-disc we are getting in The Netherlands is the trilogy. Disney Netherlands confirmed this.
