The Top Eight performed Monday night and last night the bottom three were sent home. Adam Levine has two of team members safe and each of the other coaches only have one. Gone from the show are Audra and Seshauna from Team Blake and Delvin Choice from Team Adam.
Next Monday night it will be the Semi-Finals and another three will be sent home on Tuesday night. My pick for the whole thing is still going strong and we will see what happens next week.
Gwen Stifani and Pharrell Williams were introduced to us as the new judges for Season Seven with no mention of season eight, this time around.
I hope that they stick to the Shakira and Usher judges every other season, so we don't have to wait too long for the chemistry to get back. We will see how Season Seven goes and run from there.

The Season Six Finale is set! Next Monday, May 19, the final three - Josh Kauffman, Jake Worthington, and Kristina Grimmee - will perform for our votes to decide the winner of The Voice.
The Season Finale on Tuesday will feature the return of the Top 10, along with stars from seasons past, including Chris Mann, Terry McDermott, Danielle Bradbery, and many, many more along with the crowning of the winner of Season Six.
Should be a pretty good show and I am really pulling for Josh to win the whole thing, but Adam seems to think that his 'off-beat' singer, Grimmee, is going to sweep it all. Watch next week and see who wins the season six The Voice.

I'm not sold on the judges for Season 7, but I will see how they do, and how the show goes. Christina is coming back for Season 8, but no word on anyone else. Also Shakira is leaving the Voice after this season.dvdjunkie wrote: Gwen Stifani and Pharrell Williams were introduced to us as the new judges for Season Seven with no mention of season eight, this time around.

As far as the finale I think Josh will win, although I think Jake actually has a chance. He had the highest iTunes positions this week, and seems to have a growing fan base.

I read that about Shakira. I'm not surprised. She seemed as frustrated as Cee Lo to see her superior contestants eliminated one after another. She must not know this is the Blake and Adam show.
Christina Aguilera and Usher probably feel the same, but they never seem as personally invested in their contestants, so take the show for what it is--a very easy paycheck.
Josh should win. How did Jake and Grimmie end up in the finale?

Re: "The Voice" Season Six discussion.......................
Tonight is a big night for the reality shows, "American Idol" and "The Voice". At 7 pm we get a "filler" show about the contestants journey on The Voice. At the same time, the Final Two, Jena Irene and Caleb Johnson perform for the last time for our votes at 7 pm on Fox.
At 8 pm on NBC we will have the two-hour spectacular where we find out who will be Season Six's The Voice! After last night performances I will be surprised if Josh Kaufman doesn't win this, hands down. Jake Worthington and Christina Grimmie are still in school, and as Jake said in his interview last night, 'win or lose, I am going back to school for my senior year so I can graduate with my friends'. Sounds like he has his head on straight.
If Josh doesn't win it will be shame. He has grown so much since his Blind Audition, and has had to endure switching coaches after the Battle Rounds. He originally was on Adam's team, but went up against Delvin Choice, who really took him to his limits, and got the win for that round. Usher pounded his button and saved Josh because he saw something there he could work with.
Coach Adam Levine made the statement last week when the Bottom Three included Grimmie. He told us "If you save her, she will win the whole thing, I guarantee it!" Tonight we will see if he sees something that the rest of us didn't see.
Lots of big stars lined up for the Finale tonight, and it should be a really great two hours of entertainment.

So glad Christina Grimmie didn't win. Especially after she tried to copy someone else on Idol and sounded so much worse.
