New items on Disneystore.com
There are a couple of new Sleeping Beauty and Lion King items available. There are toys, clothes, a lamp, bedsheets, a snowglobe and other collectible items. I hope they will be in retail stores soon! Just do a search for Sleeping Beauty and Lion King.

Yeah, there's a store only a few miles north of me.indianajdp wrote:Also it appears as though the 50% off sale is still on at the actual store itself if you have one nearby.
Still lots of great deals to be had
There are some new Jungle Book 2 items like a Shanti Costume and new Stitch items.
The "'Lilo & Stitch" Commemorative Lithograph Frame is now $5.99 USD.

About time they added a Plush Pete.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Actually I think he would be.
He's nice and big so plenty to get hold of and cuddle
Plus a Steamboat Willie Mickey and Steamboad Willie Pete would make a great set.
Don't you think? Don't you?
I did a search for Pete on the Disneystore site and not one item came up - does Disney really ignore their oldest character so much? If that cheap floosy Maleficent can get on merchandise, why not Pete? Doesn't he deserve to be on something? Anything? A Mug? Come on, he should be on at least one mug? Please?
Hello? Is anybody still reading this?

Well it was sort of a humourous comment MMB, but I am sort of making a point. She was, after all only in one film - which keeps getting put in the famous Disney Vault every few years.MickeyMouseboy wrote:2099net wrote:If that cheap floosy Maleficent can get on merchandise, why not Pete? apparently he's not worth making merchandise characters cheap and floosy get all the merchandise
While Pete their oldest character, who is still seen in productions made today get nothing. Nada. Ziltch.
Something wrong, don't you think?
At least the Japanese recognise his true value:

*Sigh* At least he's in Konami's Disney Sports games for the GameBoy and GameCube, and EA's Disney Golf for the PS2 as well. I hope he's in EA's Disney Party for the GameCube...

Pete, my friend... I can not believe you went there.... uuuUUHHHH Hhhhhuuuhhhh... deep breaths... deep breaths...OK LOOK...
no no, that's ok, mustn't lose temper OK, well, since I guess you were jokeing I'll let it pass
Yes, I too was j/k, I think there should be some Pete merchandise, and I think that Steamboat Willie Pete, was soo cute! (Are guys alowed to say cute? I said it a couple days ago about something, and some girl got on my case about it...) I like all the old time characters better, personally. I wouldn't mind collecting the WWDC sculptures of the old ones, and think they should do the Pete one. I also think a SW Pete and a SW Mickey plush set, would be very expensive, as it would probably be a collectors set... still I guess that's an improvement to no Pete

The problem with that kind of set is that plush toys are made for younger children, and hardly any of them know what Steamboat Willie is! I remember when I was younger, I was scared of the weird looking Mickey! But if they released a set of "House of Mouse" plush toys with the staff in House of Mouse garb, that could sell...and of course, Pete would be the star of the series.
