Mickey Mouse Day!!!
OK, this might sound stupid to some, or a lot, but I thought it would be cool, to declare a certain day, Mickey Mouse day. We can all sign on, maybe choose a certain time period for everyone to sign on, and we can discuss, that cute little guy/mouse that has a special place in all of our hearts, and we could all sport a Mickey Mouse Avatar, and just devote that whole day to all things Mickey!!!
Just an idea, give it some thought

Well, here are a few possible dates I came up with and their historical Mickey Mouse signifigance:
-August 7
* Disney completes the 2nd Mickey Mouse film, "Gallopin' Gaucho".
-August 28
* The Mickey Mouse film, "Gallopin' Gaucho" is previewed in Los Angeles.
-September 18
* Walt Disney's "Mickey Mouse" trademark application is granted.
-November 15
* Disney completes the Mickey Mouse film, "The Barn Dance". Minnie Mouse also appears.
-November 18
* The Colony Theater in New York debuts the Mickey Mouse film, "Steamboat Willie". This is Mickey's sound debut, with Minnie Mouse as co-star. The music of "Turkey in the Straw" is used. It is the first cartoon to feature synchronized sound. It uses Pat Powers' Cinephone system, which was illegally copied from RCA's sound recording equipment.
I personally, think Sept. 18th is the best day, and symbolizes his (Mickey's) birth as a Walt Disney Product, or however you want to word it.
According to the Timeline I found this info on, I guess Mickey actually made his debut in Galloping Guacho, though I'm sure his official and (inter)National debut was in Steamboat Willie, Nov. 19...
But, August seems kinda iffy, do to people's vacationing plans and such, so I think Sept. 18th should be our Mickey Mouse Day.

How can Disney take the moral highground against DVD pirates now?
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Here are some site links with tons of Mickey Mouse Avatars...
they are just something to keep in mind, I think it would be cool if everyone had Mickey Mouse Avatars for Mickey Mouse Day, and remember it only has to be for the day then you could switch back if you wanted.
Anyway these links are from a very good site I often browse when trying to find a new Avatar...
