I was surprised to see that the bonus disc's art gallery was so substantial. 130 images, if memory serves. Not the most extensive gallery Disney's ever given us, but far more than I was expecting and my mind was blown that they gave us an art gallery at all.

The "Voices Of..." featurette and the additional deleted scene add up to about 11 minutes total, so meh. Better than nothing. It's just a shame because all of this could have easily fit on the combo pack's existing discs.

I don't have anywhere near the technical know-how to do something that simple, I'm afraid. ^_^;

I'm sure someone will upload it eventually. :)

I haven't watched any of the features as they were posted online, so I thought that the actual "Making Of" featurette would start after the song. Imagine my surprise and complete rage when I was directed back to the menu. I know Disney is known for milking things dry, but this is absolutely absurd.

Hans:

"For The First Time in Forever Reprise" recording:

Presumably more to come.

Also, something interesting for Digital movie users:

Source: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2294629/boa ... 0318231223
When you redeem your digital code chose VUDU... It gives you 3 FEATURETTES.
1. Making Snow Angels
2. Cold Hands Warm Hearts
3. Thicker Thank Water w Olaf.

I don't think Itunes has the same bonus stuff.
Also Vudu you don't have to download it you don't want to. It streams as well on any Vudu app on any device!!!

It only give you the option of Itunes or Vudu.
I like Vudu better because of all the bonus stuff and also you can select chapters rather than having to fast forward on iTunes. So much more convenient. VUDU is far superior than iTunes.

My love for this movie actually grew after watching on Blu-Ray in the comfort of my own home. I was starting to get a little tired of Frozen overload to be honest, but wow, the animation is BEAUTIFUL in HD. Definitely a step in the right direction for computer animation artistically.

And most of the common criticisms kind of became less credible to me as well. Elsa is a very nuanced character and she felt more complete than I thought. The pacing issues are pretty exaggerated when you actually watch the clock and consider how important each and every scene is. Yeah this story could have easily been 2 and a half hours long, but it's a Disney movie so not really  Save that for Broadway.

The only thing I kind of agree with is that Hans isn't the best villain once the shocking twist isn't shocking anymore, but he's not really the main antagonist of the movie anyway. He's a side villain really, and I like him for what he is.

Goodness, now that is indeed a fun theory !

But Disney references have happened so many times before with itsy-bitsy cameos happening in previous films (Belle in Hunchback) … how come it hasnt been as heavily debated as it has been now?

It's because people are obsessed with Tangled and Frozen. :D

I don't get it either, cameos in Disney films have been happening for years, and now people like that Grace chick are taking them seriously and suggesting conspiracy theories like Disney's planning their own "Avengers"-style crossover film featuring their own characters...

I never found Benedict Cumberbatch appealing.

I'm tired of seeing his face and his voice appearing in every single film I have the vaguest interest on.

Oh lordy lordy Lord.

Benedict is a pipping hot crumpet, okay? So I approve immensely. (Or any Brit guy would be appreciated. Collin Firth, anyone?)

What i find even stranger is that people seem to acknowledge the in-jokes in Pixar movies yet in Disney films, it's gotta be one big crossover.

anyone else remember the first list of bonus features??
The Making Of Frozen – People want to know how movies are made, this piece will do that for you. Hosts Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff take you deep into the Disney Animation Studios on a musical tour written by composers Kristen Anderson Lopez & Robert Lopez. Directed By Kenny Ortega (Blu-ray, Digital)

D’frosted: Disney’s Journey From Hans Christian Andersen to Frozen – While Frozen is a new and unique fairy tale, the story of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen was one of Walt Disney’s projects in development for years. Through research and never before seen concept artwork by Marc Davis, we take a look at the legacy of this story and how it lead the way for Frozen.

Breaking The Ice – The Real Making Of Frozen – Join the filmmakers and crew of Frozen as we go behind the scenes and explore how this modern Disney Classic was made. (Blu-ray, Digital)
4 Deleted Scenes with introduction by Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee

Original Theatrical Short – Get A Horse (Blu-ray, Digital & DVD)

‘Let It Go’ Music Videos

Frozen Teaser Trailer (Blu-ray, Digital & DVD)
Anyone notice what didn't make it to the final blu ray?? Breaking The Ice – The Real Making Of Frozen is MIA. Guess they decided to hold it for the fall 3D blu release

I think something from the original list has been put to DMA instead of on-disc. That might be it.

Under the movie on DMA the extras are identical to the Blu-ray, and under Discover they have some other Frozen videos, none of which are Breaking the Ice. They do have an 8 minute "The Making of The Making of Frozen", though.

They also have Mickey and the Beanstalk in full on there (Ludwig version), and what I see doesn't leave me feeling optimistic for Fun and Fancy Free, or other such titles.

I agree. And it's already longer than most Disney films.
