The "X" Factor is no more........................

Post by dvdjunkie »

Fox News is reporting in their entertainment segment last night that Simon Cowell's "The 'X' Factior" television series will not be renewed for a fourth season. No actual reasons were given but Cowell said he will return to Britain for their version of the show which is doing well.

Now that leaves us with "American Idol", "America's Got Talent", and "The Voice" as the three entertainment reality shows on the tube.

To be honest, I've hated the show for never giving Melanie Amaro her winning album. Kind of glad it was cancelled, since there were too many of these shows. Hopefully the only show that can actually help its contestants have a career, Idol, will stabilize in ratings to last for several more years.

I wonder if Simon might return to Idol in the future... When they eventually have their final season, it'd be nice to get Simon/Paula/Randy back together. :P

I've never watched any of these "talent" shows and I don't feel as if I've missed ANYTHING. Oh, I forgot I did see Susan Boyle's first appearance on Britain's Got Talent on youtube. THAT was amazing!
