i wonder if elsa inspired pieces would cause the wearer to become frigid? :milkbuds: i like the design of the rapunzel set, very pretty.
Awesome. I can get a my future GF/wife them so we can role play!

Great idea!

:glare: I already get teased enough by my siblings about my crush on Ariel. I don't need it from you, too.
They tease you for having a crush on Ariel but not Louis the failigator? That's a SHOCK.

I can get on board (just about) with lingerie 'inspired by' the Princesses, but it is a bit creepy to have basically their outfits altered into knickers and bras. That's just wrong.
No it's not especially since it's intended for adults. It's no different than seeing this shit:

No, you will get an underpants full of tacos.

thelittleursula wrote:No !

Most of the Disney Princess girls are under-aged ! This just feels creepy ! There is a few older ones like Cinderella & Elsa, but still....
No, only one of them, by US standards, is --And that's Snow White. All the others are 16 or older. In most states, 16 is the age of consent. So nothing wrong( yeah there are sub laws within the consent laws but where' not getting into that)

Image

From wikipedia:
The term pedophilia is commonly used to refer to any sexual interest in minors below the legal age of consent

depending on the state, 16-19 are above legal consent level.
disneyprincess11 wrote:Yeah, this is just really creepy. Not to mention most of the princesses are around 16-19
How is that creepy? All those ages are legally consent.
Also see above.
thedisneyspirit wrote:How long till we get somebody defending pedophilia? I'm waiting for the one person who fantasizes about Snow White to comment here.
Why you're bringing pedophilia into this? None of the princesses are children. It seems like people tends to misuse the name incorrectly. Snow White would fall under Hebephilia.

Honestly, these are kind of . . . ugly. :p Although I see potential in the concept. And they don't look nearly as ridiculous as the Sailor Moon ones pictured in the bottom of the article (and this is coming from a Sailor Moon fan)!

And by the way, do any of you guys shop at Hot topic? I thought of this thread while browsing there today as I saw an officially licensed bra and panties set of The Little Mermaid.

Look at this bra, isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?

And as an added bonus . . .

A whole new bra
Curiouser and curiouser
Make a wish, and take a . . . uh, nevermind. I probably shouldn't go there.
I'm not sure how the ones from the article are any worse than the ones you can pick up at your local mall here in the states. Well, other than the designs themselves. :milkbuds: I mean, underwear is underwear; not sure why some have to automatically sexualize undergarments . . . they're a necessity anyway, so might as well have some fun with them? I wore Wonder Woman Underoos as a kid and more recently had a pretty cool Wonder Woman camisole/pajama set. :D

How about one based on Jessica Rabbit? that would look good on a hot chick. Jasmine lingerie wouldn't hurt either.

All this talk gave me a flashback of a memory I hadn't thought of is in years. In 1994 when I was 7, I wanted to wear some Lion King Shorts with Hyena's on them. However the only ones my parents could find were Boxer Shorts that had The Hyenas saying Cactus Butt. I insisted on just wearing them as shorts and I did and no one ever said anything about it being Boxer shorts.

I think this undewear is harmless to be honest. Besides, the bra actually covers Ariel up better than her Sea Shells, though that's a lot of underwear.

EDIT: Loomis would just love this topic I think :P

My question is why didn't they do an Ariel one? It just seems too easy...

I don't have a problem with these, they're just underwear, and can hardly be described as sexy.

I am surprised they didn't include Ariel and Jasmine. A lot of str8 bois seem to like them the most because they run/swim/fly around in their bras most of their films. These aren't that bad though. If they did Strawberry Shortcake or Dora the Explorer themed lingerie then it's time to run away screaming.

This would sell.

This would not.

I really don't see the big problem. Adult males have been wearing Scooby-Doo boxers for ages (while some more fashion conscious of us may wear some say... Diesel brand Batman Boxer Briefs? ;) ) and kids have underwear based on movies, comics and cartoons, why not ladies? It's not nearly as scandalous as the designs could be, it's just different from what was expected which is to say, it exists as anything at all.

Actually the more I keep seeing them everywhere, the more I think "Why not?!"

They make me laugh when I see them, I don't think "Ooooo I bet I'll feel like a sexual minx as soon as I put these bad boys on!"

Yeah but they're usually sexual underwear, stuff you wear before you do the the * frick frickle *, and these are Princess Disney girls that 5- 10 year girls look up as role models, it just seems [ imo] creepy.

It's not Dora the Explorer level, but almost....

Whatever makes you feel sexy and happy and confident in your body I guess.

I dunno. I'm a prude, and I don't see anything wrong with it. It seems harmless enough. The designs are pretty ugly, though.

This underwear? I don't think this is "sexual underwear" at all, just plain panties and bras to wear under your clothes. They already have princess underwear for little girls (http://www.webundies.com/media/products/4529901033.jpg), now we have a grown up version.

The way these lingerie are designed and advertised seem more moe or cosplay-ish. It's not pedophillic because it doesn't present the Disney Princess as sexy. Lingerie is supposed make the customer look sexy.

If I saw a guy wearing Marvel underwear. I would be cool with it.

DancingCrab wrote:I don't think there is anything creepy about this AT ALL. These are obviously a niche item for grown women, not little girls.

There is nothing "dirty" about nice lingerie, unless maybe you're a mormon or you think nice girls should only wear granny panties.
THANK you.

There's really nothing wrong with this. Let's be honest, a lot of these Disney princesses are drawn to be very attractive (Jasmine, Rapunzel, Belle, etc.) and I think if older girls want to wear something a little sexy with these characters on them, that should be ok.

Personally if I was with a girl, I would LOVE to see her wearing Jasmine-inspired underwear ;)
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

I also was thinking of the Hot Topic undies when I opened this thread. I think that these designs are super-cute. They're not made for younger girls, it's not sexualizing the characters- it's just paying homage to their dresses.
