Nice to see this film is getting the attention it deserves. It took them long enough with Tangled and even then, it was just bathrooms. (Wasn't there supposed to be a Tangled show at Hollywood Studios replacing Beauty and The Beast). As for Frozen, I could see this being a dark ride and your vehicle being Kristoff's sleigh. And they'll probably include moments like "Do You Want To Build A Snowman", "For The First Time In Forever", which could lead into the party is over. and of course "Let It Go" and maybe "In Summer". This'll be a really fun ride and I hope this means the sisters stay a long time for meet and greets as I'm taking my little niece there for her birthday in two years, when she turns 6 and I think she'd love to meet Anna and Elsa. Though right now, Ariel and Sofia are her favorite princesses.

Awww, I really like the Maelstorm ride! I'd be sad if they ditched it out for something super tame like an Olaf ride. I like the creepy trolls and the vikings on the ride.

On the other hand, if the technique is available, something truly fantastic would come out of a ride based on the Let It Go scene. I can see it working as a rollercoaster, as we see Elsa transform and create the castle, the audience is riding on many of the ice and snow created by Elsa...

Is it easy and safe to say that Frozen is the most successful movie out of the Disney Revival so far?

-The first 18 reviews or whatever had nothing, but PRAISE. It currently ties with Tangled as the highest rated Disney movie.
-It just got #1 in the Box Office and it has been in the Top 5 in the Box Office since it opened 2 months ago.
-It is making a half of BILLION dollars and it could be the most successful WDAS movie since Lion King.
-It might be a shoo-in for Best Animated Feature for at least, a Golden Globe and it has already received many “Best Animated Feature” awards
-Not only was named as one of the best albums of 2013 by iTunes, it also just beat freaking BEYONCE for its #1 spot for sales on iTunes.
-And to top it off, it’s getting a ride at Disney World between late 2014-late 2015 and possibly a show in Disneyland, where it currently has a seasonal show.

Well, to assume Frozen is the Lion King of the Lasseter Era one must compare and contrast as to the other films.

I'd say Chicken Little, the last Pre-Lasseter film, was like the Black Cauldron of today, brought new technologies to Disney but it left a dark spot on the history of the canon.

Then Meet the Robinsons and Bolt came out, which while a bit underwhelming showed a bit more progression than CL. Like the Great Mouse Detective or Oliver of this era (Though I think GMD is way better than any of these two).

Princess and the Frog may be like a pre-Little Mermaid, a little flawed here and there but it feels overall better and captivated the old-school 90s/fairy tale style that Disney is so fond.

Tangled would be like Beauty and the Beast I guess, the Pooh Bear film is like Rescuers 2, and Wreck It Ralph like Aladdin (more emphasis on the comedy when compared to the other two previous films (Mermaid/Frog and Beast/Tangled)-

And Frozen is the Lion King, the return to the classic Disney formula that everybody likes.

Yeah, I'm not interested in Zootopia either. TBH, it's like a revamp of Chicken Little

SO FAR:

2014-BH6 (NOVEMBER)

2016-ZOOTOPIA (MARCH) & GIANTS (NOVEMBER)

2018-MOANA (MARCH) AND TBA (NOVEMBER)

However, it has been rumored that GIANTS has been pushed back to 2018. Like I said MANY, MANY times , if FROZEN continues to soar, it could be earlier. But, that may not be possible with the production process.

Unless BH6 had songs by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez and made the movie preachy and way to serious, then yeah, it would be the new Pocahontas. Thankfully we are in a new era of films that can't be compared to the 90's and it can be compared to the new films on it's own terms.

Even so, I kind of think that Disney fans comparing this new era to the likes of the Renaissance is a bit ridiculous because the style of management back then was vastly different to the John Lassater way of things. With that said, with Frozen getting high praise, I wonder if Moana will have a critic quote that says: "The best Disney film since Frozen". That would atleast be in tune with the new generation instead of going back to the 90's as a reference.

I really admired, and/or, loved the Disney movies from 2009-present for they have brought back Disney to the public eye and box office name once again.

I can't wait for Frozen on Blu-Ray!

I might go see it a fourth time and take my girlfriend too. It will be her third time. The last movie I can remember that I saw 4 times was probably Casper The Movie. I think I ended up seeing that 5 times. That's OCD Autism for ya, it's very random what we Aspies will obsess over.

My wife and I were talking about a Frozen re-theme of the Matterhorn the other day since it doesn't really fit in Fantasyland. They could replace the abominable snowman with Marshmallow.

Now before everyone cries foul, I don't think they would as the Matterhorn is iconic/popular in its own right. And I wouldn't want them to as the Matterhorn is probably my favorite Disney ride.

As for Maelstrom, sorry to its fans, but I think I would be in favor of a change. That being said, I could see it being more of a keep the existing ride structure and change all the scenery (I.e., the part where the trolls send you backwards, it could be Marshmallow and you're sliding down the mountain.

Especially if they are talking 18 months. I just don't see them building a completely new ride in such a short time period. After all, the Snow White Mine coaster is STILL under construction.
