I'll be seeing it for a third time tomorrow. I can't even remember the last time I saw a movie in theaters 3 times for the past decade.

I have also seen this film again the second time, this time with my dad, my friend (and his dad), and two other friends; my opinion on Frozen has changed very little but now I appreciate the pacing of the middle part of the film. Dad thought "It was really, really good. A 9.5 film".

Even after it came out, my audience was nearly packed.

ive only been once so far, hoping to take mum and shes away until the 15th or so, so hopefully it will still be playing. i dont think she will like it as much as i do, but it needs to be seen on the big screen.

You're not alone on this kind of thinking. With what movie theatres charge and how quickly things come to video, I almost never see the point in going to see a movie more than once in the theatre.

You're not alone on this kind of thinking. With what movie theatres charge and how quickly things come to video, I almost never see the point in going to see a movie more than once in the theatre.

Yeah, I don't think I've seen a film multiple times in the theater since the renaissance days, but going to a movie was kind of a different beast back then.

I've actually never seen a movie more than once in theaters. Maybe I am just a dork, but I always love to relegate the movie going experience to being a one time thing. If I wanted to see a movie again, I would gladly wait for it to come out on video. I think it's because my hometown doesn't have a movie theater, and the only way for me to go see a movie is to travel to the next town over, so it is always a hassle to see a movie (one of the reasons my town sucks).

I've only seen a handful of movies in theaters more than once.

Star Wars Atack of the clones: 6 times (that's no typo, its my current record )
Star Wars Revenge of the sith 2 times
UP: two times, once in 3D, again in 2d

If you count re releases and include the original release I've seen each Toy Story movie, Finding Nemo, Monsters inc, and the Lion King twice.

I'd like to see Frozen again in theaters (this time in 2D) but probably wont have the money to do that.

My local theater charges $4 a ticket during the weekday so that's a very affordable price for me.

The other main reason why I'm seeing it a third time is because I have a free ticket from Kellogg's that's good for any Disney Movie. I would have used it to see Saving Mr. Banks however our local theater got rejected on the basis it had too many Disney movies. I was able to see it once and that was good enough.

Most of my friends that I play Yu-Gi-Oh with say Frozen sucks and that Wreck it Ralph was the better film. Of course they aren't fans of Disney films from the Renaissance era to begin with, though that might be due to that era being older than them or they were just babies when it happened hence never grew up with it. I did speak to a kid in fifth grade at the card shop who said he loved it and saw it on a class school trip or something. I was shocked that he liked it, but very happy to hear it.

I went to see "Frozen" for a second time this Sunday. It's very rare for me to go to theater to begin with, and even more rarer that I would see the same one twice in theaters. But this time, I had to see the movie in 3D, as I kept hearing how great it was in 3D, along with "Get a Horse".

I considered a third time, but decided instead, to save that money and time for "Saving Mr. Banks".

going to see this in about an hour hopefully. only just opened today [dec 26] and i got up too late for the 10am screening. hopefully wont be too crowded with kids.

I pretty much did the same thing on Boxing Day, missed out on the 10am screening but went to a later sceening at a different Cinema. My Mum wanted to come with me to this one, so I didn't have to do any convincing, but she wouldn't go to Wreck-It Ralph or Planes, because she said they were too much like "kiddy" films, but no complaints about Frozen, Tangled (twice), Ice Age, Rio, The Princess and the Frog, Bolt or a whole lot of these films.

Hopefully you can convince your Mum to go, because it is a beautiful film. After reading it looks good in 3D, I said to Mum about seeing it in 3D and she was like, we've already seen once, you can go by yourself if you want to see it again (it's a waste of money type thing).

After the initial meeting with Hans, I thought that he was acting too nice and that there was something wrong with that (especially since he didn't look like he would end up as the love interest in the trailers), but I didn't actually think that the story was going to have a villian and he was going to be it.

The only movie I've seen more than once was ironically HOND when I was about 5 and didn't want to, because it gave me nightmares.

I prefer the movie version of Let It Go for the sound and voice. But Demi's lyrics are better, IMO. I wish Idina had sung Demi's versions. It would be perfect IMO.

On the whole, prophecy and explanation of Elsa's powers. I don't miss that not being in there. There are things in this world we cannot explain. The idea that they didn't explain it doesn't feel like the movie is missing anything. Knowing why she has the power does not impact them directly. Not unless the idea was to cure her of the power. Which they never touched on. Elsa never really spoke of curing the power, not that I can remember anyways. It was always about controlling it. At first, she felt it was a curse...so controlling the curse, but then when she saw she could make beauty and life, the idea was to then also to stop the eternal storm. That she can create it but also control it.

I gotta say. I'm starting to warm up to the score.

It's no where near as good as Brave or the big four.. Actually.. i think it might be better than Aladdin, since i only like one piece. lol.

Anyways, what I don't like about it is that there isn't an apparent theme played by a specific instrument.

Little Mermaid: end of "Main Title"
Beauty and the Beast: "Prologue" and "West Wing"
Aladdin: "A whole new world"
Lion King: it's in almost every track in the soundtrack.

While.. I am glad that they didn't make one for Frozen since they could have overused the theme without altering it, ALA Lion King. I am sad that there isn't one theme that we can associate frozen with.

glad you got to go on opening day as well. it wont take much convincing to get mum in there, its just whether its still being played when she gets back from australia. boxing day, she was in tauranga, lol. she normally tags along with me to any disney or pixar film cos the cinema has really nice choc dip ice creams, lmao.

I love this image because throughout the film, I kept on thinking of how much Elsa and Elphaba are alike and not just because they were played by the same actress.
