Well, this guy says it's a decent conversion, or at least much better than he expected. Otherwise, the 2D discs are largely the same except a brand new documentary replacing the 1990 one.

Re: Wizard of Oz: 75th Anniversary....3D?
I really want this new set because I missed out on the UCE in either format due to the fact that I was super poor at the time...and I probably will be this time around too. Granted I can't use 3D right now - neither my player nor my TV are 3D capable - but it'd be nice to have some 3D discs to play when I have the option.
My friend saw it and said he liked the conversion too. Said it was very tastefully done and respectful.

Re: Wizard of Oz: 75th Anniversary....3D?
Does anyone else find it annoying with all Wizard promotional art / covers etc that they seem to plonk different Judy heads on either body doubles or what looks like a CGI body ? There are thousands of promotional shots from this film, yet they seem to do the most hideous artwork with it. Granted, the cover for the 3D blu looks lovely, but look at Judy's arms ! What's going on there ?!
