Thank you so much! I love the song and it's so beautiful! It really helped me when I first heard it. I can't wait until they release it on ITunes!

Re: Sofia the First
I wonder, with all the Princess voice changes, and the addition of three new Princesses since the last song, will we get another 'If You Can Dream' ?

With Tiana, Rapunzel, Anna & Elsa added ? Yes please !atlanticaunderthesea wrote:I wonder, with all the Princess voice changes, and the addition of three new Princesses since the last song, will we get another 'If You Can Dream' ?

no Merida she should be replaced by Esmeralda or Megara
Re: Sofia the First

I totally and utterly forgot Merida ! Ooops, well technically there are four new Princesses to add then ! I know Merida doesn't sing though, so maybe she could just have a cameo appearance ?
I think practically all the older Princesses bar Ariel, have had their voices / singing voices changed in the past few years, so would be great if they did another one. 'If You Can Dream' is a lovely song as well, in its own right.

Wow I've got this list wrong haven't I ?!

It's been a loooong day ! You are correct of course, apologies. Mulan is of course in that too, and Pocahontas.

Seriously? Jennifer sounds like a much more convincing Aurora. Hell, she even does an amazing job as Cinderella.atlanticaunderthesea wrote:To fair she has been the speaking voice of Aurora for quite a while now, and does a much better job than Jennifer Hale used to do.

Re: Sofia the First
Cinderella yes, Aurora no.
She was fine, but it started to become way too similar to Cinderella. Jennifer said so herself; that's the reason she was replaced.

Re: Sofia the First
Those of you here that are nitpicking about voices do know that this show is for pre-schoolers to 7 years of age don't you?
The average kid who watches this show wouldn't know whose voice belongs to who. All they care about is the story and the characters. It is great that we, as adults, can recognize the changes, but this is a show for the little ones and none of them are going to be able to tell you the difference between Ariel's voice, Aurora's voice or Sofia the First's voice. They just want to be able to sing along, and enjoy the show.

As we have discussed before dvdjunkie, the Princess voices are their voices - no matter what the medium is - we are simply discussing who is playing who.
And I think children's observational skills are more than you give them credit for.

Re: Sofia the First
I was just wondering if the beginning of the Love we share that Bruno wrote out is the version that will be released on ITunes? If so, I love it! I wonder why they didn't use it in the movie? I was just a little confused. Thanks!

Hey Bruno! Thanks! I Hope they release the extended version with the new lyrics in the beginning on ITunes! Like the lyrics you found about going from land to sea and the Human world being strange.

Ariel's hair looks so plastic and Barbie Doll, and not wavy and free. Though the bubble effect looks nice.

Re: Sofia the First
They copied the scene before Ariel disappears right from Cinderella, right?
I remember she made the same movement with her hands and I already found it weird back then.
