Frozen: Part V
Re: Frozen: Part V
I don't think a script release will make the movie bomb? The average movie goer will see it because it's Disney, a nice holiday family film, and the teaser made them laugh. I don't think many people will even know it's been released.

Re: Frozen: Part V
No offense, but just because the script has been leaked, you think that the movie will be a failure? Exaggeration much?Lady Cluck wrote:Really Disney? You post the entire damn script after months of being Nazis about any information about this movie leaking?![]()

REALLY?![]()
And now it's probably going to bomb horribly because half of the population is spoiled and the other half doesn't even know the movie exists. And who knows what conclusions these geniuses will come to once it performs terribly at the box office?![]()
Whoever made these decisions can burn in hell!

Re: Frozen: Part V
Hm, reading the script is a big surprise. The film is very much a road-trip/romantic comedy film ala Tangled or Princess and the Frog more than a "sisters bonding" movie. There's not much Elsa in there.
And for some reason the film/script makes me think of Animaniacs. Maybe some of the jokes are similar? IDK

Re: Frozen: Part V
The only people who would bother reading the screenplay are the ones who would go see the movie anyway. It's not like people would decide not to watch it just because they were spoiled.Lady Cluck wrote:Really Disney? Anyway, after your post in that hand-drawn thread, I have a feeling you are joking again here.
A character doesn't have to appear onscreen all the time to be important.thedisneyspirit wrote:Hm, reading the script is a big surprise. The film is very much a road-trip/romantic comedy film ala Tangled or Princess and the Frog more than a "sisters bonding" movie. There's not much Elsa in there.

I'm I the only one who thinks that romance is not the drive to this movie at all, except the third act?

Disney people have said for ages that " romance is not the drive to this movie "... the focus is on the family drama, action and slibing...

There won't be any dry eyes during Do You Want to Build a Snowman? and the reprise of For the First Time in Forever, no way...

It's not the drive of the movie, especially in the third act.Musical Master wrote:I'm I the only one who thinks that romance is not the drive to this movie at all, except the third act?

Thank you, I'm glad you don't think it will be Tangled all over again.qindarka wrote:It's not the drive of the movie, especially in the third act.Musical Master wrote:I'm I the only one who thinks that romance is not the drive to this movie at all, except the third act?

Re: Frozen: Part V
What strikes me is that the romance in the movie is largely a fakeout. First, they have Hans as Anna's dream prince who is later shown to be evil. as of yet, this is still largely playing into conventional romantic drama tropes and the movie then positions Kristoff as the hero of the tale. In the third act they have him struggle through the blizzard to save Anna but he ends up doing nothing at the climax, which is resolved through the fraternal bond between Anna and Elsa.Musical Master wrote:Thank you, I'm glad you don't think it will be Tangled all over again.qindarka wrote: It's not the drive of the movie, especially in the third act.

Re: Frozen: Part V
That is one of the reasons why I am so excited for this movie.
I'm really sick of some people's notion that it's going to be a romatic comedy road trip movie like how TPATF and Tangled were, which is an absurd statement.

Disney! Please, please.. I can't live like this anymore!
Just release the soundtrack online on your website, or have an early online release..
The shipwreck.... It's gonna kill me in the movie.. Especially with the soundtrack.. This movie is gonna traumatize people within the first 10 minutes.
