Re: Frozen: Part V
A favorable, but little to spoiler-ish IMO, review from The Hollywood Reporter:
Frozen: Film Review
Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad voicestar in Disney's first widescreen fairy tale since "Sleeping Beauty."
The Bottom Line: Disney has loaded on the TLC to make sure this becomes one of its big ones.

That low for The Snow Queen? Better not tell Polizzi!Lady Cluck wrote:That wasn't even a bad review? It wasn't a rave but it will count as fresh in the rottentomatoes score![]()
Frozen has surpassed The Wind Rises due to this early positive buzz. Let's hope it continues!

I still think that Todd McCarthy is more positive in that review for Frozen than he was when Tangled came out.

Am I the only one who notices that the Frozen icon is a fanart?Avaitor wrote:That low for The Snow Queen? Better not tell Polizzi!Lady Cluck wrote:That wasn't even a bad review? It wasn't a rave but it will count as fresh in the rottentomatoes score![]()

I know. His junk actually reminds me of Bowie's junk in Labrynith. I will make a meme about it.Everyone on tumblr is fangirling about Hans' junk.

Somehow that made me foresee a fan vid on Youtube with Hans and the trolls singing "Dance, Magic Dance".Candy-Bonita95 wrote:I know. His junk actually reminds me of Bowie's junk in Labrynith. I will make a meme about it.Everyone on tumblr is fangirling about Hans' junk.

Re: Frozen: Part V
So I guess it's safe to say that Frozen will surpass Tangled's $590 worldwide gross right? To me Frozen has to atleast pass the half billion mark. Brave did $537 million.

No, it's not safe to say at all. How many non-sequel films do that well nowadays?DisneyEra wrote:So I guess it's safe to say that Frozen will surpass Tangled's $590 worldwide gross right? To me Frozen has to atleast pass the half billion mark. Brave did $537 million.

That is a pretty sad thought.

I don't think Frozen will do as well as Tangled despite being a better film in many ways (probably).
Tangled just had a lot of appeal for the masses.

Re: Frozen: Part V
I know Frozen won't match the sequeal/prequeal of Despicable me 2/MU, but it has to surpass The Croods $587 million gross. I'm still shocked The Croods made that much. $400 million of it was worldwide!Tristy wrote:qindarka wrote: No, it's not safe to say at all. How many non-sequel films do that well nowadays?

Re: Frozen: Part V
Is there any hope/chance the score would leak next week ?...
It happened for Tangled i remember... I had been able to listen to it before the 20th of November...
So please, join your hands and pray :
" Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it leak, let it leak, let it leak !!!..."

Re: Frozen: Part V
I can't believe it but I'm just so pumped for the music of this film, especially Let It Go...I really hope it doesn't disappoint.
I really hope in this film Disney takes some risks and doesn't play it safe ala Tangled.
