See, we shouldn't have complained so much about the lack of marketing earlier. Now they are overdoing it.

All we really need for the clips are just the "Hans/Anna" one and Let It Go, and everyone will be good until next month

It's certainly not the wolf scene in "Beauty and the Beast". This one is less intense and a tad more comedic.

I do like Kristoff's voice, though.

I like that this wolf scene is different from Beauty and the Beast so that it can feel comfortable with the light/dark tone Frozen has.

Kristoff does have a good point about Hans.

In my opinion I am just giddy about the premiere getting closer and closer. I really hope that maybe this movie will get some needed recognition.

So where does one find out about advanced screenings in their area?

I know the chances are remote there would be one in Cincinnati, but I would clear my calendar to go!

Was that already known? Does anybody know what character is he voicing?
besides main mens voices, there are other three minor characters: The King, Kai & Pabi [?] (if I remember correctly)

I hope that Disney doesn't release the full "Let It Go" sequence prior to the film's premiere. From what I understand, that is the most epic and visually spectacular segment of the film, so it will surely make the biggest impact when viewed on the big screen.

True, the response could be, "Then just don't watch the clip if it's released." But it's so hard to avoid.

Besides, I expect that the Demi Lovato video that will be debuting Nov 1st will have some footage from this segment of this film (indeed, we've had some already on the trailers and TV special). I hope they keep the full "Let It Go" film sequence under wraps till the premiere.

Of course, It'd nice to see Frozen winning something because it may deserve it (It can also win because of one of the songs), but if it doesn't, well, If I like the movie that's enough for me.

HoND was the 5th highest grossing film worldwide in '96. How is that a flop?

Like I said last month: WDAS was going to do a 2 month marketing blitz for Frozen, meaning they would shove everything in our face over the next 60 days. Since the first "official" trailer came out on Sept. 27, we have had more trailers/clips/songs/ect. It's been one month since the first trailer came out. Once November comes in a week, the party really starts!

I hope Disney doesn't do this to BH6 next year. Cramming everything 2 months before release & avoiding the film's existence/ignoring leaks earlier next year. But since Pixar is sitting next year out, that's unlikey.

Personally I'm not sure what the benefit is in hyping a movie too far in advance. And for that matter, what is wrong with 'shoving it' in our faces 2 months in advance. Remember we are Disney fans and actively seek this material. The majority of the audience doesn't, and probably have very little knowledge of the film before entering the cinema.

And I think Disney is being cautious, people had a tendency for attacking Disney films on hypothesized PC grounds, which Disney can't defend having not completed the film yet. Limiting advertisement to an appropriate time limits the effects of such criticism. Given huge storyline changes occur so frequently during production, I'm not too sure why Disney lets plot synopsis into the public early in production.

Michael Schwartz ‏@mikemovie 3h
The song First Time In Forever from the FROZEN soundtrack is the best Disney song since the Renaissance era (20 some years ago). Good sign!

Germain Lussier ‏@GermainLussier 25 Oct
Frozen has a lot of heart & some really great songs but, while I enjoyed it, it didn’t quiiite grab me like I wanted. Solid but no home run.
Would really have liked opinions from Stitch Kingdom, especially since the person running it wasn't too fond of the junior novel, been taking the embargo rather seriously though.

And I will be posting whatever negative opinions as well, they'll crop up eventually.
