Is it true that there will be a Star Wars park?
At both Disneyland and Disneyworld? that'd be pretty neat you know.

I think the closest you will get to that are lands within the parks; that has been mentioned before, along with Avatar Land in Animal Kingdom.

What should the other SW rides be like? and who would love to see them do a couple of Indiana Jones rides as well?

They have one Star Wars ride and an Indy Stunt show in Florida, and an Indy ride in Disneyland. A Star Wars land could be awesome. I'd go for an entire theme park, though. Maybe they will start with a land and if it exceeds expectations, we will get a SW park? You never know. As for now, the rumors say it will be just a land in Hollywood Studios.

I've been to the SW rides at Disneyland back in 93, 2001 and 2009 and at disneyworld 3 years ago and also went to the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland in 2001/2009 and went to see the stunt show 3 years ago, awesome stuff.
But maybe they should do a SW rollercoaster, interactive walkthrough area of SW stuff and all that.

There could perhaps be a spin off park with Marvel & Star Wars being the focus ?
I know it is beloved by millions, but I really don't want a land attached to Disney for either of the above; Studios maybe, or their own park, but not attached to any of our actual Disney Lands.

Yes a separate world would be nice in Disney world.

No.
Am I the only one who's tired of Disney promoting so much non-Disney stuff in their parks?

Except for the fact that Disney now owns Star Wars...thedisneyspirit wrote:No.

I know, but it isn't Disney ...

Neither is Pixar, but Disney owns the studio, which is why you see Pixar characters at Disney theme parks.

An extension of Hollywood park would be good with more SW/Indy stuff and Marvel Cinematic Universe rides would be nice, perhaps a new Muppets funhouse attraction with animatronic muppets. And at Tommorowland, how about Tron ride?
Re: Is it true that there will be a Star Wars park?
I think that is a different kettle of fish all together - Pixar films were made in partnership with Disney. Star Wars was not.DVDBuff1 wrote:Neither is Pixar, but Disney owns the studio, which is why you see Pixar characters at Disney theme parks.
