http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/d ... ale-642531Disney is taking a comedic look at the fairy-tale genre.
The studio has picked up Happily Ever After, a pitch from Nahnatchka Khan, the creator of Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, that has Reese Witherspoon attached to star.
Witherspoon is also on board to produce with her Pacific Standard partner Bruna Papandrea. John Jacobs of Smart Entertainment is also producing.

So, is this the long rumored sequel to Enchanted? Except more of a spinoff that a sequel?

Re: Disney's "Happily Ever After"
If it is, why not cast Amy Adams? If it's 10 years after happily ever after, then it's ok if she has some baby weight and wrinkles.
In any event, this should be fun. Reese Witherspoon is practically a cartoon character anyway. Just so long as they don't cast Vince Vaughn as her prince.

Hmm... I don't really like Reese. I'd much prefer Amy, I'm a fan of Enchanted.

Plus Amy Adams has a lot on her plate right now with a relatively small film known as Batman VS Superman which is a working title

I'm sorry, but this has nothing to do with 'Enchanted'...

Yeah, I don't get it either. She's not fat and she doesn't look old. The press can be so nasty sometimes.atlanticaunderthesea wrote:If Amy Adams is what baby weight and wrinkles look like...sign me up!RyGuy wrote:If it is, why not cast Amy Adams? I didn't figure it did . . . Fine by me. Enchanted is one of my favorite movies (even with it's flaws). In my opinion, the story is fine left as is . . . Don't want it mucked up ala Cinderella II ( shudder . . . even my kids hate that movie - and they love Dora the Explorer so they're not that picky).Old Fish Tale wrote:I'm sorry, but this has nothing to do with 'Enchanted'...

The Charmings. Paul Winfield was the magic mirror. I never watched it but I remember commercials for it.unprincess wrote:anyone remember a Happily Ever After style sitcom from the 80's? (or am I showing my age?) :\
