Apparently she was recently promoted to the position she was in and was overseeing DMR. I talked to her a little about the bubbling rumors that always come up about DMR closing. She said, with conviction, that that was no where in the near future. They are apparently expanding next year and will be able to offer even a larger variety of prizes. She wouldn't mention what, though. :P Figured I'd share.
If she was this nice, short lady, then I say she is correct (I took a tour last year with her through DMR). She knows what is going on with DMR. She told me to hold on to redemptions until October and I will be pleasantly rewarded... which I was.

Decided it was time to use some of my points to get a couple of movies that I wanted for my Disney collection.

First, I ordered "Enchanted"-Blu-ray/DVD combo pack for 1750 points to get free shipping.

Second, I ordered "The Story of Robin Hood and his Merrie Men" DVD for 750 points to get free shipping.

Received my E-mail notices about the shipping along with the order number and was told it would be 7 to 10 business days before I would receive my Rewards.

Yesterday, Saturday, August 17, I received "The Story of Robin Hood" and was very disappointed in the quality of what was on my television screen. It was grainy, scratches occasionally, the sound was pretty tinny-sounding at times, overall I am glad that I didn't have to pay for this. Well, I guess I did pay for it, it cost me 750 points that I will not get back again.

I have a bootleg copy of this movie that is world's apart in quality and sound. It's only problem is the color is a little washed out, but overall it is better than the 'legal' release.

Can someone tell me whether other Disney DVD's offered in Disney Movie Rewards are of this lesser quality? I am interested in "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" and "The Barefoot Executive" for sure, and a couple others.

Unless they get some better choices for Blu-ray titles in my points range, I am going to just sit back and wait for the next "new" offerings from DMR.

All DVD and Blu-ray titles available on DMR are the same as their in-store counterparts. The reason why The Story of Robin Hood is such a poor quality DVD is that Disney wanted to make the cheapest disc they could.

If you want to know about the quality of any of the other DVDs, this site's reviews are the best place to look.

Also The Story of Robin Hood was first a Disney Movie Club Exclusive and many of those older title through Disney Movie Club have the same issues, but don't expect a new restoration anytime soon

Apparently there's a really interesting new reward on Disney Movie Rewards.

It's called a Disney Movie Rewards Coupon for 100 points. This is the description of it
Bring home your favorite movies for a whole lot less with this special rewards coupon. Watch the coupon’s face value grow as you apply it to different Disney movie titles. It’s a big deal!

Coupons are valid for 30 days from print date and no later than 12/31/13. Good in U.S. only. Offer is non-transferable and void where prohibited. See coupon for complete details.

I'm still not sure how this works though.

I just redeemed it and it's a $3 coupon off a Blu Ray Combo pack. The details claim to say once you redeem it that it's good for 30 days, however when I printed it, it shows an expiration date of September 23rd. The problem I have with that is I don't get paid until October so basically the coupon is useless to me. I might contact Disney Movie Rewards about this to ask what's up with it

The offer says "good in U.S. only" and yet I can still redeem it if I'm a Canadian memeber. :?

That frustrates me a lot. I would have waited to print it had I known that :x

On the bright side, at least it was only 100 points

Well I'm frustrated

I got my Iron Man 3 3D Combo pack in the mail today, and when I went to enter the code, it said it had already been used. I had to email Disney Movie Rewards a picture of the receipt and the back of the box. I hope I get my points or I will pissed if I don't

Has this ever happened to anyone else that sees this message.

I got Iron Man 3 through Disney Movie Club

Just received my "Fantastic Four - The Complete Animated Series" on DVD, and after watching the first disc, I can see why this was so successful. Stan Lee's introduction of each episode is a real bonus, and I am sure that I will take all of it at a leisure pace. I had never heard of this animated series, but according to what research I have done, it was very well received by critics and had one of the highest ratings of animated television series' when it was on in the '94-'95 Season. All 26 episodes are on four discs, and the Stan Lee intros are in front of each episode unless you want to click on the "off" when it asks you whether or not you want these introductions.

Received both Pin sets (Little Mermaid & Princess Shoes) that I was lucky enough to get before they redeemed out a few hours after they were introduced. Great pair of pin sets & well worth the 1,800 point total.
15 gallon 7 pint blood donor as of 1-4-11. Done donating. Apparently having Cancer makes you kind of ineligible to donate.

Hey guys!

I have more than 6000 points and I want to redeem some of them.

How does it work? What do I have to do to get free shipping?

Pick what you want to redeem and press redeem. Then it will ask where you want it shipped and you just need to confirm. Shipping is always free with the rewards. There sometimes is an option to pay the shipping yourself and use less of your reward points but it's just that... an option.
