Man, it's like Disney meets Jerry Springer.

Hopefully animals will have an important role in this movie....I'm a huge Cinderella fan and as a child I read dozens of versions of the story...In all of them are animals that, although they don't talk, help Cinderella getting her choirs done....The Disney animated version had the wonderful scene in which the mice and birds adjust the dress of Cinderella her mother. This could be transformed into a really magical scene, in which reallife/CGI mice, spiders and birds could do the job...Old Fish Tale wrote:They also kept the stepsisters' names! And I don't mind "Ella" at all. "Cinderella" is yet another way to humiliate and abuse her.
And it's clear the animals won't have the same importance in this film, but I still want the stepmother to have a cat.

I think this film should be shot in France or Belgium, instead of England, because the film is a French fairy tale and Disney's artists who worked on the animated version actually went to France to draw inspiration for the film. Also, I don't like the Prince's fake name being Kit. But oh well, none of it's ruining my excitement!
