You really need to stop being such a potty-mouth and drop the bad, whiny, cry-baby-ish attitude as well.
I have to agree. I want another 2D animated film from Disney just as anyone does. However nothing is achieved through ranting, name-calling, or crying fowl. All we can do is hope that someday handdrawn animation will gradually make a comeback to inspire Disney to doing so again.

Kali Fontecchio, a character designer on the Mickey Mouse shorts, posted this sketch in honor of the show's Emmy wins.

The episodes start this Saturday in Germany. In promotion trailer you hear Mickey has the same German voice as he always has. So no replacement over here. How did other countries handle that topic?

What makes Mickey's win even more impressive is that all of the other nominees in the Short Format Animation category were from Cartoon Network.

And to think, its former Cartoon Network artists that are teaching The Disney Channel how to be cool again. 8)

Oh, the irony. 8)

Even impressive when it went up against shows like Adventure Time and Regular Show. With this latest win, it brings the Emmy total to three.

Who knows, maybe it'll lead to good things for the Mickey Mouse team in the future.

Well I really hope these shorts into something bigger, like an animated series? That would be gold. :D

Maybe they could do a show where the Mickey cartoons are shown as part of a nightclub inhabited by Disney characters.

Nah, that's a bit much, don't you think? :P

As much as I wish they bring back House of Mouse, but I bet the Mickey Mouse shorts will become a half hour series like Phineas & Ferb, Gravity Falls, and the new Disney Channel cartoon hit Wander Over Yonder.

Shake It Up, Jessie, Austin & Ally, A.N.T. Farm, and Dog With A Blog has to go. If they want to make tween sitcoms, they need to make shows that have nothing to do with being a bunch of popular snobs or a Justin Bieber type of thing. I hope Girl Meets World will be a normal and sensible tween show like Boy Meets World.

I knew what she meant, just a little game of semantics. ;)

Oh, and I'd say its your goofy avatar. For some reason on the internet people tend to think everyone's a guy unless proven or hinted otherwise. Your username and avatar don't say "girl" to most people. I know its strange that anyone would assume we're anything like our avatars but on some subconscious level most people do.

What, apparently Goofy is only for boys now?

I'm kinda surprised at the large amount of male members in UD, tbh. I thought Disney in general appealed to women as well.

No, not at all. Even if I had, say, princess leia or a pink power ranger as my avatar, (and had a neutral username) a lot of people would probably think of me as a girl despite being more boy targeted franchises. Our avatars are the only thing next to every post to visually associate a username to.

I wonder what the ratio of boys to girls are here anyway. I'm sure there has been a poll at some point. Wait, are polls still broken here? I know they were broken in the past. You could easily be right though.

But I'm getting off topic aren't I?

...

Think we'll see any Halloween themed mickey shorts? How many are left anyway, do we know?

If they're making money I doubt Disney will remove them anytime soon sorry. Disney is a business. I do agree with you, but yeah.

A 30 min Mickey Mouse show would be awesome, even more so if they remember Oswald.

Then it's good that I think you're a boy who loves playing with toys then. ;)

(But I doesn't work much, since I think Disney Duster, DisneyJedi and Disney Divinity are women)

The only "Halloween-esque" short there is is one where Goofy is a zombie and Mickey is running away from him. I can't remember the name, but I think it's up on the Australian website.

Women have always been in the minority when it comes to message boards. I have no idea why, but it's rare to find a forum with an equal percentage on gender.
