question on sing a longs
When did Jimminey Crickett stop hosting them. I just bought one for my sons and was disappointed that it no longer had the intro I remembered.

Wow, I have a semi-related question:
When did Jiminy START hosting them? The ones we (Kram, I, family) have are:
1: Heigh-Ho
2: Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah
4: A Very Merry Christmas
7: Disneyland Fun
12: The Twelve Days of Christmas
And 1, 2, and 7 have this blue cartoon owl teaching birds how to sing. When did they retire this owl and get Jiminy?

Disneyland Fun had a host: Professor Owl. I think there was also a Sing-a-long songs with Flick from a Bug's Life as host. There were also others with a group of kids and the Park Costumed Characters in the same fashion as DIsneyland Fun. There were some at Typhoon Lagoon, Camping at WDW, and a Disney Circus. I also remember a new series that came in the white clamshell packages and one cover was red and had Geppetto and Pinnochio on the cover.Uncle Remus wrote:well i have a more exact listing here:

Things
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah. Was the only one I bought and I love it. Plenty Of Sunshine Coming My Way. Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-A-Dee-Day. Oh everytime I watch my copy of Song Of The South it makes me want to stand up and sing and shout. That is the best Disney Film ever made and I love it dearly. But back to the subject
I liked Professor Owl he was very cute and funny.

I thought I had them all...(well actually all but one)...but I don't
I have #1-15, and On My Way and Little Patch of Heaven on dvd. I've never heard of the Pongo and Perdita one, the Happy Haunting one, or the Flick's Musical Adventure one. I knew about Honor to Us All and I really want it, but my mom never bought me that one...I guess I'll probabally hunt it down on ebay someday
I loved them sooo much when I was little and I still enjoy them today!
And I too really liked professor owl as the host, or Jiminy Cricket.
Ludwig Von Drake was ok too, but he was semi-annoying

Re: question on sing a longs
Just a pet peave, but there is no such thing as a "sing a long".
It's only 2 words, SING ALONG.

Chicky Mouse is right. Its is "Disney Sing-Along Songs".Chicky Mouse wrote:Just a pet peave, but there is no such thing as a "sing a long".

Mermaid Kelly: I have a copy of Honor to Us All and I think I might sell it as well as some other sing along videos as well. Let me think about it. Besides I have almost all of them up to Flik's Musical Adventure
