This was an exciting update! Thanks, Sotiris! 'Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy' sounds great! I'm so glad they're bringing more characters from 'Peter Pan' and keeping the switching talent plot! It would be nice to see Mermaid Lagoon too! And great casting! Plus, Zarina looks great! I can't wait! Hopefully we'll get a new trailer soon!

I think the new fairy looks great. so great in fact she makes the other fairies look old cgi models!

I find it a bit weird though how Perriewinkle (though i thought was made an official disney fairy) does not appear in this film? :(

AGGHHHH !!! INFORMATION OVERLOAD !!!!!

This is all incredibly exciting ! 'The Pirate Fairy' looks pretty darn epic, and with our first 'Pan' connection since Tinker Bell.

I hope they don't make the fairys take a back seat though and solely focus on Hook; want it to be balanced between the two. Sad to see Periwinkle missing, but it is true, she can't leave the Winter Woods ... you don't think they will drop her do you ?

The trailer is sloppy; fine if you hadn't been aware of that first clip, but kind of dull if you have seen it before. Also, it seems to be emphisising the wrong part of the story - the synopsis and promo stuff at D23 was all about the pirates etc, but the trailer was just about the power switch up, with the pirates tacked on at the end. Confusing, no ?

I wonder where Quest For The Queen went; doesn't sound like it was a title that could have been attached to this film ? Maybe it was the working title for the Never Beast film ?

And I'm glad this series was spotlighted at last, as it deserves to be.

I'm sure that was the working title for 'Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy'. Perhaps it will make sense when we see the film. 'North of Never Land', 'A Midsummer Storm' and 'A Winter Story' did.

I don't think they'll leave Periwinkle out. I'm sure Tinker Bell will visit her in the Winter Woods. They worked so hard to stay together, didn't they?

I'm certain Quest for the Queen was a working title for The Pirate Fairy, not for Legend of the NeverBeast. I'm thinking the story must have changed radically to warrant such a different title. Perhaps because Peggy Holmes took over for Bradley Raymond as the director? There still is a chance for there to be a quest for a queen in the film though, so who knows?

By the way, based on the synopsis, Legend of the NeverBeast sounds too similar to the plot and themes of Pooh's Heffalump Movie. What do you think?

Or that... Yes, there was also 'The Ring of Belief', which makes no sense now.

Yes, awfully uninspiring as well; doesn't sound like a fully formed idea yet hopefully. I thought the Never Beast could have captured the Queen or something, so that's why I thought the title belonged.

Honestly, Tink goes through so many story changes ! I wonder what makes them change so much ? Remember when the 'Great Fairy Rescue' trailers came out ?? Totally different from what we actually got. Unless it was just for trailer purposes ...

I do! In that first trailer, it seemed Lizzy had swapped places with her father. I believe 'Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure' didn't change a lot. Was it because it was based on a published Disney Fairies book?

My interest in this series has piqued with the recently announced connection to Peter Pan. Having only seen the first entry - and mildly enjoying it - will I get anything out of watching the rest of the series?

Yes, was exactly if they had swapped places ! Now, was that purely for the trailer, or did they really alter the story that much ?

I just don't feel like we have had this much change from initial released trailers / promos to the final product before in a Disney movie.

And yes, please watch the others, they are worth your time.

This was the first synopsis we got, so the story has changed.
After being confronted by her antagonist, an irritated Tinker Bell retaliates by taking a photograph of Vidia ... without considering the consequences. Now, the two must set aside their differences and cooperate to prevent evidence of the existence of fairies from falling into human hands.

Wow!! How different was that ?! Vaguely remember it from years ago, had totally forgotten. So many changes ... I wonder why ? Too many cooks maybe?

I'm extremely happy with the version we got. Well, it seems to happen all the time with these films and it's normally for the best. But 'Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings' needed some changes, in my opinion...

- Where is the Minister of Winter? It's like she was replaced by Lord Milori. In 'Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue' we didn't see the Minister of Summer because the story took place in the mainland. In 'Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings' there was no excuse.

- We saw frost and snow fairies in 'Tinker Bell' and they weren't just in the Winter Woods.

Mmmm that's where I worry with Periwinkle being cut - Peggy Holmes has a habit of this. She ignored all of The Little Mermaid TV series for her movie 'Ariel's Beginning'. I don't want her to start messing with the mythology of Pixie Hollow.

Maybe some silent scenes like the ones Vidia had in 'Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure'? It would be better than nothing.

I found this new photo. It's from D23. I wonder what that is, but it looks sinister.

Yes, it would be better than dropping her all together; but Peggy needs to learn that these films are always a continuation; you can't look at them as individual sections. They are all part of one big tapestry.

Looks like that is where she keeps the stolen pixie dust !
