Contrary to what Prince Kido described from an early screening,Anna and Kristoff don't seem like Rapunzel and Flynn. Heck,Rapunzel makes Anna look like a snob. She actually goes up to Oaken's shop in her ball gown. Kristoff is not cocky like Flynn. He thinks and takes action.I think his sincerity could be a foil to Hans' sexy facade.

Re: Frozen: Part IV
holy goodness! I've been a while withoout checking fo Frozen info and we get all this! (Last time I did this we had the japanese trailer, just tell me if you want me to do this more often
)
That scene was amazing! For everybody saying that Anna was weak...look at the way she takes Kristoff's knife and cuts the rope! And I loved this part:
"K: One,two...
A: No, no way, there's no way I'm doing this!
*a tree falls*
A: Three!
*jumps*"
I also kinda liked how the snow that was in Kristoff stayed in the air in like a cartoony way.
And how Kristoff is the samrt guy and Anna learns from him. And when Olaf can't feel "his legs" HAHAHAHAH (Heard that joke in The Simpsons, but it's funny anyway!). And how Johnathan Groff's voice suits Kristoff. And how....etc hahaha
sorry for that, I just love everything, and that clip made me actually start to like Anna, who I wasn't really into before that.
I also like the music when Elsa appears. Kind of mysterious like she's a bad guy or something. I don't know wheter that's part of the soundtrack or not.
So excited, thanks for sharing this!

Re: Frozen: Part IV
Glad to see something concrete and in English finally.
I loved Anna little 'Three!' whilst jumping off the rockface.

Ice Castle playset from Mattel:

It's interesting to see what the interior might look like. Is that the magic mirror?

Actually on second glance it looks like one half of the toy is the ice castle and one half is the castle in Arendelle at the beginning of the film.

Interesting, the interior of the castle reminds me of the interior for Rapunzel's tower ... I wonder if Clare Kene was involved?

Re: Frozen: Part IV
Olaf definitely made me laugh...I guess I tend to like the "annoying" sidekicks anyway, but I like him! And I'm glad that Kristen Bell doesn't sound like Mandy Moore...I can't not see Rapunzel when I look at Anna, due to all the early comparisons...I mean, it was a small screen on my computer, so maybe bigger I won't worry about that. I do like her design, it's just familiar.
And, so that was a test scene, so it may not even be in the film? But it's a decent bit of completed animation. I guess this is why I just don't love CG films as much as hand-drawn. I mean, in a hand-drawn film, it was rare to cut out such finished animation.
In the clip that RodryCroft posted...it's small on my computer, but was that Elsa's head on top of her body? It seemed to be moving? I don't know exactly what I was looking at...

If you're referring to that bluish/crystal thing, I think it looks more like her throne.Lady Cluck wrote: It's interesting to see what the interior might look like. Is that the magic mirror?![]()
If you're referring to the actual mirror with the chair in front of it, perhaps, but that doesn't seem very epic for a "magic" mirror. It just looks like a run of the mill vanity (my wife's grandmother had one that looked just like it).
Time will tell, though whether there is a magic mirror in this story and which (if any) of those things in this playset it is.

Olaf and his song are HITS!
Just saw a song from Olaf - Hilarious! Great character. I was worried, but this is great.”—Ricky Brigante, Host of Inside the Magic

Something said at D23 sparked a thought about the end of the movie... And I have this awful feeling this is where it's going to go...
In one of the D23 quotes I read from today, Lassetter said "Anna thinks herself ordinary" and then spoke of Elsa's powers. We all know that there are these synopses that talk about melting Elsa's frozen heart. So what do you want to bet that Anna has the power to "warm" while Elsa has the power to "freeze" and they have to end up ruling the kingdom together at the end to keep it in balance?
