They are doing a third season and if it is the last I want resolution and not a cliffhanger.

I think it'll stick around. The second season was good enough for a spinoff to be produced. The first season was the third most watched show on the network.

But yeah, this season really did have a hard time finding a real direction. I expected mary margaret and emma to be stuck in the enchanted forest all season, when suddenly they're home

Isn't the second season the trickiest? I'm enjoying it so far, though we aren't too far into the show I suppose. What I am missing though is Regina/Emma/Snow.....there have been quite a few episodes where one if not all three are missing ! The absence of them is really felt, especially Regina. I know other characters need developing, but just my personal thoughts.

Sounds just like Once Upon a Time to a T. Perhaps that's because as said in the video, ABC was looking to make a tv series out of this but stopped in 2008. That's interesting.

Glad to see that Once have a panel at Comic Con again this year; do you think we will have a brief teaser trailer for S3 like we did S2 with Captain Hook ?

I know they arent filming yet, but the cast (from what I gather on twitter) have gotten the script for ep 1, and the writers are currently on ep 3.

Magic is coming back... at the very end of September. Fine, fine, that's still way too far away, but at least now we have a set date for the Once Upon a Time Season 3 premiere: the show will return on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at the usual 8 p.m. ET/PT time slot.

What can you expect from the new season? Well, for one thing, it's currently set to have two distinct, 11 episode acts — one in the fall, and one in the spring. This means the show will probably be taking a very long winter hiatus (maybe up to 11 weeks!), but on the upside, it should fix the problem of having annoying, random weeks off in the spring for no real reason.

We also know the show will attempt to balance Storybrooke (yes, we will still see it), Neverland, and Fairytale Land without getting too complex: The goal for the writers this season is to tame the beast.

That said, based on what the showrunners discussed at the 2013 ATX Television Festival in Austin, we can especially look forward to a lot of drama on the Jolly Roger, as our leads attempt to rescue Henry. Yes, they all have the same goal, but that doesn't mean they'll necessarily agree on how to go about achieving it!
