I Wish Disney Just Release House of Mouse on DVD or Itunes

Post by TsWade2 »

Hey everybody,

I'm very glad that Disney Channel has finally made new series of Mickey Mouse. But there's one thing that got me a little bit obsessed with House of Mouse. I really miss that show. And I thought it would be nice if Disney eventually release all the episodes of House of Mouse on DVD or Downloads on Itunes. Mickey's Magical Christmas is already on DVD and Itunes, and they should of add Mickey's House of Villains. Years ago, I record every episode of that show, but sadly, it's on VHS. And I don't think watching them on Youtube won't do justice. Disney refuse to let someone to upload Christmas episodes. But I'll do my best not to obsessed about it. :)

Gosh, I'm longing to hear Jodi Benson voice Belle from the show; I've heard it talked about, but have never managed to hear it for myself !

Jodi Benson plays Ariel and this nothing to do with that. I said I wish Disney just release all episodes of House of Mouse on DVDs or Itunes.

Yes, it totally has something to do with it. What was said was that Jodi played Belle on the House of Mouse as if you recall many characters came back to that show from other films but not every actor would. Jodi was BOTH Belle and Ariel in that program.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know. Still, it would be nice if it comes on DVD or Itunes someday.

With the current Disney TV Animation DVD revival over at Disney Movie Club, you never know...

Think you were a little sharp with your response there TsWade2; thank you for explaining for me JiminyCrick91.

This will probably turn up at some point on home release; though mind you Aladdin & Mermaid TV shows both havent yet.

*EDIT* are there not a few episodes available on DVD ? Seem to remember seeing them.

Problem: Demand. Disney tends to focus on what current generation kids want. If a TV show they release in a season format (mainly shows from the past) do not sell, then Disney discontinues them (this is why Disney needs to MAKE COMPLETE SERIES SETS INSTEAD OF COMPLETE SEASONS. This would be a more logical approach for fans that want to own the entire show). As for the case of House of Mouse (wait... House of Mouse... House of Cards... sorry, getting back to topic), the demand is a bit limited.
.. but then, Disney Movie Club recently made exclusive sets for some shows that either needed to be completed on DVD or never were on proper DVDs. So maybe we may see a light for this show being on DVD soon?

As for iTunes... doubt it. Disney's not releasing the older classic shows on there, so I don't see anything about that yet.
This is DisneyFTW1, a former Youtube account that was terminated by Disney themselves. My current Youtube Account is FilmFTW2 (FilmFTW1 was terminated). Youtube sucks when it comes to film uploads, and it sucks even more when major corporations are following your channels. But what can I do?

Oh, I think it is safe to say more Disney animated tv shows will end up on DVD via the Disney Movie Club. Could HOUSE OF MOUSE be one of them? You never know, although I do hope the Disney Afternoon-era is fully released first! If I had to *guess* as to possible future releases in this new trend, I'd have to put my money on titles like DUCKTALES, ALADDIN, RESCUE RANGERS or DARKWING DUCK next. We'll just have to wait and see how it goes that said. :D

In the mean time, everyone please go join the Disney Movie Club and pick up KIM POSSIBLE, GOOF TROOP, GARGOYLES, THE WEEKENDERS and TALESPIN on DVD and help those sales numbers! :D It will go a long way in getting more of these types of titles out on DVD.

I'd probably purchase house of mouse if it was out on DVD probably wouldn't pay a premium price for it unless a good price per season

Well, if that's the case, then I got to sign up for Disney Movie Club.

I made this video a few months ago and it's basically all the times that the princesses speak (that I could find). So you can see Jodi Benson voicing Belle at 0:30

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kblWz_VM ... Dt06eDN3Ek

*She only says: "I wonder what's going on"

*The singing voice of Belle is Paige O'Hara

You can also hear:
Jennifer Hale as Cinderella & Aurora
Jodi Benson as Ariel & Belle
Carolyn Gardner as Snow White
Linda Larkin as Jasmine

Wow wow wow wow, thank you so much my lovely !!

Made my day, was lovely to hear her for the first time. If truth be told, if I didn't know it was Jodi, I'm not sure I'd even register it wasn't Paige. Probably after a few listens maybe, but she definitely has that softness there that Belle has.

I love that voice of Snow too, is she still doing it or is is Melissa Disney ?

You're welcome!

I don't really now... Carolyn Gardner last voiced Snow White in 2010 in the video game: Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep

But then in 2011, another girl voiced Snow White in the video game: Kinect Disneyland Adventures, it was: Katherine Von Till

So I guess we will have to wait until Snow White appears in Sofia The First to know who is the current voice of Snow White.

I would gladly pay good money for collections of Mickey Mouse Works/House Of Mouse. You can probably add the new Disney shorts as extras to round out the packages.
