Hi,
I am shortly looking to buy a DVD of "More Silly Symphonies". From other sites and also from posts on this forum, I know that there is a re-issued version which corrects some of the mistakes on the original.
I want to know, was this re-issued version ever actually sold? Or was it only provided as a replacement set for those who had purchased the originals? I know that the originals were released in December 2006 and that the re-issues became available in July 2007. So, were there any of these 65,000 sets still available by the time of the re-issues, and were sold with the re-issued disks? I want to know in case I can get hold of a new copy of these re-issued disks. I can see that new sets are still being sold on Amazon for upwards of $100 each because they are now quite rare.
Also, does anyone know if Disney are still prepared to send out the re-issued disks even now, more than 5 years after their publication? If so, then maybe I can buy the original disks and then request for Disney to send me the re-issued versions.
Thanks,
Adam.

Here's a link on the what mistakes there were and the numbers you can check to see if your disc has these issues. It also has a phone number you could try. It's from 2008 but it's worth a try

However they might have run out of replacements by now.

The following website has a very good overview (including how to check which versions you have) and then individual pages on all the mistakes:WilbyDaniels wrote:What were the mistakes on![]()
