I don't think anyone needs to see the film if that's the shooting script. But honestly, all we have right now is a still. I'll wait for more before giving up on this...

Another Spoiler I remember

I think after King Henry announces the wedding between his daughter and Stefan, he poisons Henry to become King

Also when they decide to part with Aurora, the queen objects but Stefan says you'll have other kids won't you? and plucks her out and hands her to the 3 fairies who Need I say are not Flora, Fauna, or Merryweather, as these three fairies hate the idea but Stefan threatens them. By the time the 16th Birthday comes they are glad to be rid of her.

Also yeah I agree with you Old Fish Tale. IF it is this script no one needs to see it, but I'll still hold out hope for now they did some major changes to this.

Yea, reversing the good to bad and the bad to good is not how you show how a character becomes evil!

wait i read the script but i dont remember it exactly. it's king stephan who's bad isn't it? aurora isn't, is she?

I think turning bad into not exactly pure evil does work sometimes, like once upon a time, but it's rare i think, and it's safer to go down with a storyline, like theodora in oz the great and powerful.

I think Once Upon a Time did it half good, because Snow White got tricked into doing what she did. I was thinking instead she could have done what she did for the sake of her father over Regina. I don't know.

Oz the Great and Powerful did it ok.

And this Maleficent script is doing it horribly.

That's sort of an understatement. Cripes, I think fanfiction writers do it better than this.

As far as the whole One-Winged Angel thing?

It's referencing her transformation into a dragon.
I think, in the leaked script, there is a dragon transformation near the end. But it's not by Maleficent herself; she turns Diablo - or Diaval - into various animals in order to defend herself from Stefan's soldiers - Bear, Dragon, and butterfly, to avoid being killed in the same fashion, like in the original.

I don't like this. I don't like it at all.

I fear it's going to ruin Maleficent's character; not just in the film, but in general as well. And I fear they're going to replace the original with the new one in everything(Merchandising, etc.), and I don't want that.

I don't think they are going to replace the animated character with Jolie's Maleficent on merchandise. Look at Glenn Close's Cruella. They only use the animated Cruella on the merchandise. And look at Amy Adams as Giselle. She isn't in the princess franchise because of the royalties contract. They will probably have a lot of merchandise for the movie itself but I can not see them using Jolie's Maleficent on stuff after the movie has been released. It will go the same way pretty much every other live action Disney film does merchandise wise.

One wing angel is referenced to Sephiroth. He's main villian in final fantasy 7. One wing angel was his theme song. The theme starts when he transforms into a god like being that fires meteors at you.

Thanks Chris. So, he meant is Maleficent's constant magic, attacks, and dragon transformation going to be in this film?

They won't let her replace the original Maleficent. It will only last for a while like Cinderella's new look isn't going to stay around forever.

That's good. I would not want them to replace the original with this one. Especially given the direction this film is taking.

As a side-note, what do you mean by Cinderella's new look? Do you mean the whole princess redesign thing going on?

I see!

That's funny; from what I've read, a lot of people made it out like it was a permanent thing; that they changed the designs of the princesses for some, unknown reason, and were keeping them in the new design.

Can't say I understand why there would be such a hassle, if such a thing was temporary, though.

Well we were afraid it wasn't temporary but we have nothing to suggest it will be permanent yet as we've seen future merchandise will hold their original designs.

I think it would be extremely silly if it were permanent, because there is nothing wrong with the original, and there is absolutely no need to redesign them. Sure, Cinderella might be missing her ears, but it can't be that hard to re-add them to the original.

It would be like making the Designer Doll versions of the Disney Villains the official design. T'would be extremely silly of them to do so.

And sweet mistress of all evil, the sparkly dresses would put even Edward to shame.

This sounds like it's going to be a sob story and no happy ending for Maleficent.

Also it's been announced that Sleeping Beauty will be a Diamond Blu Ray edition in fall of 2014 a few months after Maleficent will be in theaters

They need to abandon this at once. From what I read she turns to evil cause some dumb king who deserved to
die poisons her lover.
