Thanks for the links (I hadn't pre-ordered the Diamond yet), but I was wondering if anyone could find a link for the Sephora collection above, if there is one.

What´s the point of the BR on DVD packaging?

I find it quite silly myself but this isn't anything new at all. They've been doing this as far back as Snow White on Blu ray apparently

For uniformity reasons, especially if the bulk of your collection are DVDs.

I think just checked on Sephora's website the only thing they have up from the Ariel collection is Storybook Palette. Everything else is what's left over from Cindy and Jasmine's collections. I'm sure more will pop up on the website just keep checking:

Exactly. At first I only bought the blu-ray in DVD packaging. Then I got screwed, when some titles were only released in blu-Ray packaging or were very hard to get in DVD packaging for Europeans. So I purchased everything again in blu-ray packaging. Very frustrating, first world problems... :D

I haven't been following this thread and don't feel like reading back through it, but I have just one question:

Have bonus features been announced? Will there be any new ones, or will they just be recycled from the PE? Or will they go the unfortunately more common route and just leave them out altogether?

The press release lists 7 new bonus features as well as "classic DVD bonus features," here-

Is this the new cover for 'The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning'?

I like it a bit, even if there's a sister who is missing and Triton's hair was brown in the movie (even though it was supposed to be red if we would follow the tv-show... Hmm, maybe they repainted that part of the film?)

I don't know, but I hope so! I really love it!

But I think the blu-ray is going to be a 2 movie collection, just like they did with Cinderella's sequels.

Maybe it's the cover for the DVD?

Would they really miss the opportunity to show Sebastian and Flounder on the cover?

I love that cover!

The only problem is they excluded Adella. It was probably too crowded.

He means that the poster for Ariel's Beginning posted above is an old one since it says "Walt Disney Pictures" at the top. Nowadays, Disney only uses the moniker "Disney" on all promotional materials.

Isn't it just copied and pasted from the previous cover, no?
