List of Disney VHS In Order?

Am I correct in assuming that there was no 01-09, and that 10VS (Pete's Dragon) was their first ever VHS release? Wikipedia does mention that on the page for Pete's Dragon.

I notice some gaps in the sequence, for example:
47VS/47BS The Sign of Zorro (October 15, 1981)
53VS/53BS Swiss Family Robinson (November 1982)

So basically, did Disney just not release whatever those 6 movies were going to be and/or save them for later? Or is Wikipedia's list incomplete? I was just curious as it would be nice to compile a chronological list of home video releases, rather than grouping them by series like Wikipedia does (or, maybe, have them as both formats and the user can choose)

It's a shame you didn't bring this up 8 or 9 years ago, I used to collect the old original White Clamshell Releases as a few of the veteran members of the forum will remember and had at least 60 of them. Could have been of some help. I always appreciated them more then the recent ones loved the retro feeling of the artwork with the Wizard Mickey etc. I first started collecting when I was about 13 all of my allowance and money from odd jobs various ventures I was involved with went to buying old Disney films. A couple years later became good friends with the owner of a substantially large Video Rental store used to trade with him the recent released version for the original releases + a bit of additional money generally he knew that they had a collectors value. In the 80s they released tons of Disney films only a minority of them have been released on DVD.
