Nope, in Germany we don't have the vertical titles (except for some strange reason for BatB 3D).^^

Disney Germany has confirmed that there won't be a 3D Blu-ray release of The Little Mermaid in Germany. I guess that means Europe won't get it either. I'm still hoping the U.S will get it.

How stupid can the people at Disney be? This makes no sense. Why won't they sell their product, earn more money and please their fans while they're at it? All that manpower, money and resources at their disposal, and what kind marketing strategy do the "experts" at Disney follow? The biggest entertainment company in the world seems like it is run by amateurs:PSotiris wrote:Disney Germany has confirmed that there won't be a 3D Blu-ray release of The Little Mermaid in Germany. No, darling! They'll make people buy the Blu-Ray before the 3D one is released!

- "Puss Cafe" Animated Short
• Disney Sing-Along Mode

• The Making Of Oliver and Company
• And More!

Terrific! I never double dipped on this before and I still have the first dvd from over 10 years ago. Finally an upgrade!
And I like the cover art. Was expecting them to recycle it anyway.

Anyone know when The Jungle Books Blu-Ray is going to be released? Disney announced Spring but I am surprised a date has not been set yet. Since this is a Diamond Edition I would expect something more concrete by now

I feel dumb. I thought I read it was this year

Very curious to see how they handle Oliver's transfer as it was one of the least touched up ones of the DVD era. Near-VHS.

its going to be released in the Middle East also
they didn't release any Diamond Edition in 2013 until now in Europe (Peter Pan was not a Diamond over here)
so i guess they decided to release the two titles of each year Diamonds at the end of the year (The Jungle Book + The Little Mermaid)
and then release The Jungle Book in 2014 Spring in the US to fix what they did when they removed Peter Pan from the Diamond line in Europe

As much as I want to get excited about the announcement of O&C, I think it may get delayed like Winnie the Pooh....we'll just have to wait and see.
