Which of the Animated Films Have you Never Seen?

I'm not talking about any of the Treasures, Pixar, Shorts or Live Action Disney films ... only of the 40+ full-length animated classics.

My list would include:

Mulan
Pocahontas
Saludos Amigos
Make Mine Music
The Black Cauldron
The Three Caballeros
The Sword in the Stone
The Hunchback of Notre Dame

I'm sure these are all great films...I've just never had a desire to see them yet. Although I felt the same way about Treasure Planet until I saw it last weekend and absolutely loved it.

Bambi - thanks to Disney UK's wonderful Vault system the film has only been released on VHS once over here.... and I missed it.

I have them all, and thus have seen them, and I encourage everyone to at least rent them so they can form their own opinion and see what kind of films Disney was turning out at certain points in history. I think Saludos Amigos is more like a cery old Discovery Channel documentary than an animated classic, but there are minor (very minor) humorous moments with Donald and Goofy. Maybe it would help if it wasn't EDITED. I was expecting the same kind of mess from The Three Caballeros but was actually quite entertained by its look at South America, and the comedy of Donald Duck, Joe Carioca (who debuted in "Saludos"), and Panchito. I thought Make Mine Music was all right, also probably better unedited. The Black Cauldron was the most different film Disney has done, and I really don't know what to think of it. It seems more like other cartoon fantasies dished out by other studios in the '80s and '90s. It's also the first PG animated feature from Disney and has received the worst DVD transfer I've ever seen, Disney or not, but it does display the original OAR of 2.35:1. Fun and Fancy Free and Melody Time are pretty good. I think The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad is one of the most underrated movies ever. It's hilarious and great fun. I recommend it for all. All the rest mentioned (including Bambi, I would suggest you try to find some way to see it, 2099net) are MUST-SEES and great Disney Classics.

Well, Bambi will be coming out soon... Odds are, Spring 2005! so, the wait isn't that long... But yeah... most people dislike bambi, but I LOVE it... Just a matter of opinion I guess!

As a child I never got any disney movies on vhs and I only saw three in theaters. Then one day I saw Ducktales in english it was such an amazing experience It felt like the first time I saw a 3D movie! There after I swore never to watch dubbed animation again and stood by it. That ment that I didn't se a single animated Disneymovie untill the day I purchaced my Lady & The tramp Limited issue dvd three years ago.

I think there's a reason Brother Bear was in parenthesis.

I've seen each and every one of them, though I've only seen Make Mine Music and Melody Time about once or twice. But still, go me!

You know.. it seems that most people haven't seen Saludos Amigos, Melody Time, Make Mine Music, and the Three Caballeros... ANd if you ask your friends, I'm sure they'll tell you that they;ve never heard of it... Disney needs to re-release those again... they really need it!

*I've also seen both sections of Ichabod and Mr Toad but I've seen them seperatly not as the whole film but am getting the DVD on the 21st also.

So from the 21st only 1 movie!

I haven't seen:

Saludos Amigos
3 Caballeros
Ichabod and Mr. Toad (seen seperately, but not in this form)
Melody Time (seen some segments seperately, but not together)
Robin Hood
Oliver and Company

There's probably a few more, but not that I can think of right now. The only ones that I really feel a great need to see are Robin Hood and Oliver, as I've heard some great things about these movies. The others I've all seen most of the individual segments, so I kind of know the "feel" of the movie.

You guy's should have seen my list last year; Pinocchio, Snow White(!), Fantasia, Bambi, Cinderella and Tarzan! I'd only seen parts of these movies.
