Thanks for letting me know. I was wanting to buy the pin set, but I never got around to it. Thanks to you I now will own it 8)
You're most welcome. I remember the first time they offered it in late 2011 until January 2012 you could get one of the pins but had to pay like $15.99 for the set. Getting the whole 3 pin set for only 475 is a STEAL. The $10 movie tickets (when they were available) were 425 points. This is a great set & the point value is awesome.
15 gallon 7 pint blood donor as of 1-4-11. Done donating. Apparently having Cancer makes you kind of ineligible to donate.

Just curious, what is the advantage/purpose of having more than one DMR account?

I personally don't have an extra account, but some people buy multiples of the same movie, you can only enter one code for one movie in each format, so if you have multiple accounts you can use multiple codes.

I don't have multiple accounts either, but I'm always frustrated when I go to the movies with my family of seven and can only get credit for 4 of the tickets stubs. I get that they probably have the set limit to avoid fraud. I guess I should be happy that they have kept the program around this long instead of complaining.
I've been using my rewards points a lot lately to pick up Disney Blu-Rays that I'm missing. At the top of my list right now is DisneyNature's Oceans and The Lost Season 2.

Mine too. Once again I succumbed to the but-it's-a-limited-time-deal-that-everyone-is-raving-about! bug, lol. Those pins will probably disappear into a drawer somewhere, but at least they were genuinely cheap and there's nothing else I want to spend the points on anyway. ;) In fact I'm a little concerned the Collectibles section is withering away... Are they gradually phasing out those items in favour of posters and DVDs? :|

I have all my pins in a box, So I'll have to move them somewhere else once I get my set.

I never save my points up enough in time to get the sculptures, so I usually get the pins.

I passed on the pins, but now I kind of regret doing that. I have enough to spare, too.

I was going over what movies I had redeemed for my Disney Movie Rewards account, and found that Lion King 3D combo pack wasn't listed. So I went to the shelf, entered the code, and I got 200 points

All this time, I had 200 points on the shelf unused rotfl rotfl

Looks like the DMR is offering the mystery DVD deal again today. They just posted a link on their Facebook page. 425 points for a mystery DVD... have people done this in the past? What do they typically ship, and is it worth it?

What they ship varies, even within each offer. The last time I went for it I got a Treasures set (without the tin). Was totally worth it. But I think others got something like Cheetah Girls?

Eh, what the heck . . . I'll take another gamble. If it doesn't pay off I can always give the disc to one of my nieces.

Lion King Pin Set arrived today. That was unbelievably fast from order to shipment to arrival.

As mentioned, it's totally random. I got High School Musical 3 last time, which while not my cup of tea, at least allowed me to recoup my 100 points. That's the other thing to mention -- it was only 100 points last time. So even if you somehow end up with a 3D blu ray, you'll still be out something (worst case, the whole 425 points for a title you don't want that isn't even DMR-eligible).

When I did the mystery CD during the same promotion two Christmases ago, I got Cheetah Girls. :( Besides being a worse offering than HSM3, it didn't even have any points to give back! That's still sitting unopened for the donation box. :P

Last time it was 150 points, the time before it was 75 points. Both times I ended up with something I had. I think I'm going to sit this one out.

I got Pooh's Heffalump Adventure last time. Cute enough for one viewing, but I quickly pawned it off.

I'd be fine with taking another risk, if it didn't cost so many points.

I've never done the Mystery DVD promotion before, so I decided to try it this time. I hope I get something good/I don't already own.
