I am coming close to completing my collection of owning all 52 Disney animation films. But I still don't own any of the 6 package films from the 1940s. I don't see these at any retail store and I am not aware of them being a part of the Disney vault.
I am looking for advice on the best route to go in adding these to my collection? If I want them new will I just have to wait for eventual rereleases? And if so, any idea when and if they would be released once again?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Ever heard of a little place called Amazon? All six package film DVDs are available.

Thanks, it's good to see all six are available for purchase online. After those I only have a few left until I reach all 52. I am awaiting the release of The Little Mermaid blu-ray this fall, as I don't have that one. I also don't have Robin Hood or Sleeping Beauty - any idea on when those will come back out of the vault?

Between Amazon, ebay, used movie stores - you really shouldn't need to worry about the vault system. There is a buy/sell/trade movie store near me and in one trip, you could probably get 30/52 DACs easy and at reasonable prices.
You can fairly easily buy all 52 films right now somewhere online without breaking the bank.

Thanks for the info. I should have been more specific in that I don't want to buy used. I prefer to buy current releases brand new. It's what I have done so far so I want to finish up the collection that way. I'm not in a huge rush to complete the collection and it has been a lot of fun to gather them this way over the years.

Robin Hood is rumored for this year, the Middle East already has it scheduled. Sleeping Beauty is still currently a part of the line up for the Diamond editions and will not be coming until 2015 or later.sdswanso3092 wrote:Thanks, it's good to see all six are available for purchase online.
