^ I agree. I don't like the monster label for any of them. I mean, Mushu isn't a 'monster", either, and he got that label. And Mowgli and Lumiere both got the "warrior" label, versus a hero label, so I guess I don't quite get the labeling system that they used. And Eeyore got "toy spell", but the Woozles got "animal spell"...? It's inconsistent. I mean, Monstro got "animal spell", but Quasimodo got "monster spell"???? Disappointing, I agree.

Those are all things I missed. You're totally right. I mean, I think Mushu could be a monster, I kind of get why Heffalumps and Woozles could be the animals the toys fear but they look like toys so, I don't think that works, and maybe a warrior is someone who does more fighting than just being a good guy but I don't think that has been consistent either.

This. I played Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom once during my CP, and Quasimodo was one of the cards I got. I almost facepalmed. Disney doesn't know their own movies. "Who is the monster, and who is the maaaan..."DisneyJedi wrote:Honestly, I think it's a little insulting for Quasimodo to be under the 'Monster' category.

I also found Aurora's rose petals to be pathetic. Why does she have roses to begin with?
Anyway, I thought the game was really boring, and I only had the attention span to save Main Street from Hades.
That was awesome. Now based on what I've just seen on this game, I was thinking they should do game show version of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom for Disney Channel.
They’ll be two teams
Blue Team VS. Gold Team
I’m think the host will be Mario Lopez, unless if anyone else have someone in mind.
This is going to be the same plot with Merlin for finding the crystal of the Magic Kingdom before Hades does.
Here are the lists of the Villains of every episode:
The Wicked Queen
Cruella De Vil
Yzma
Scar
Jafar
Dr. Facilier
Govenor Ratcliffe
Maleficent
Ursula
and
Gaston
In the beginning of the game, the host talks to Merlin in a screen, and he says he’s far to busy and let a Disney Guest Star to guide the teams.
Guides list of every episode:
The Seven Dwarfs
Pongo
Kuzco
Rafiki
Genie
Mama Odie
Pocahontas
Flora, Fauna, and Merriwether
Sebastian
and
Lumiere
In two rounds, two teams need to defeat today’s villain by using obstacle challenges. They had to defeat the villain’s minions, destroy traps, rescue disney characters, and finally defeat the today’s villain. The end of the second round with the most points, wins and goes to the bonus round.
The bonus round is to defeat Hades to win prizes.
Level One: One player has to stop Pain and Panic to take the crystal.
Level Two: Other player has to defeat one of three villains from Fantasia. Either Chernabog, Firebird, or Tyrannosaurus Rex.
and
Level Three: Both players of the same team to defeat Hades.
And that’s the end of the game.

Re: Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom
I just got back from Florida, and got to play the game in the Magic Kingdom.
I thought it was a fun game to play, even if it was set on Easy. I guess that was done, to prevent crowding at the portals. But I had a lot of fun, running around the parks, visiting the different portals in each land, and take on a different villain along the way. As if I was in a little adventure of my own, saving the place from the various Disney villains. Also, it was nice to see The Emperor's New Groove having an appearance in the parks.
Now, the biggest drawback is that it does take up valuable time, which is every second in the Magic Kingdom. From what I hear, if one is to play it all the way through non-stop, it would take between 3 to 4 hours.
Also, sometimes, when you finish one level at Fantasyland, your next adventure could be in Adventureland, which is quite a distance. So that takes away more time from one section to the other.
Therefore, I don't recommend it for those visiting Disney World for the very first time, or first time in a long time, and if your trip is 4 full days or less. But if you are there longer than that or a regular visitor (visiting at least once a year), and a fan of the animated movies, then the game is worth checking out, and see for yourself whether you will like it or not. But not a must-see by any means, and don't let it take away time from the rides, shows, character meet-and-greet, or the other theme parks.
For me, it took me 2 days to beat it, as I played it along the way rather than non-stop. One day, I played half of it, on the day that was devoted to the Magic Kingdom. And other times, I played the rest on my 5th full day at the parks. At times, I played it when waiting for my Fastpass return time to come up, if it was in the same area. Also, I would just come to the Magic Kingdom from the other theme parks, just to pick up a pack of cards, as I am currently trying to collect them all.
Would I play it again the next time I return to Disney World? Only if my visit will be at least 5 full days.
