You know, how all our names and avatars are to the right instead of the left. Theres a reason they were on that side, it made the most sense.

Rey, he's talking about the fact that the username and avatar are on the left side, instead of the the right like they used to be. I can definitely see his point, but I don't mind it this way either.

And I see he beat me to it haha

You're a goddess. I hated everything being on the wrong side, but didn't want to comment with complaints. Happy it's solved (along with the other problems the forum had).
Is the forum going to keep this look? I have no issues with it personally, but it seems a bit basic. Some customisation would do wonders. Also, is there a way to integrate the links to the main site, reviews etc. like before? It seems slightly disconnected now.

I know I said I didn't want to post complaints, and these aren't. I'm glad the forums got a make-over and everything's working again. That hasn't been the case since before I joined!

Good job Luke, Rey and EnigmaWing!

Ahh, much better. Now, this is probably getting more on the nitpick side, but the left margin is looking a bit wide, its a lot blank space at the moment. Can that be moved at all? It would really help streamline the look.

I also had to check if I was on the correct site :P

Anyway, it looks good! I'm sure we'll get used to it soon enough.

Agreed. I'd like a bit more colour, perhaps an image or two adorning the place, etc.

Still...I'm quite happy to see something a bit fresh and different (like a new TARDIS interior). I haven't tried out the new functions, but it all looks very interesting.

@DVDBuff1: Welcome.

congrats on new look. it's refreshing. Still which there were some better emotiocons and spoiler tags.

What's this about username and avatar being on the right? When ever i went on the forum I always had the username and avatar being on the left. Someone clarify wtf they're talking about?

Even though I'm a new member here, I've been meaning to join this site for quite a while, but never got around to it. But I always did like checking out the forums to see what you guys were posting, and with the new forum design I figured it was finally time to join. Looking forward to posting more. :D
I'm glad this inspired you to join! :)

Thank you to Luke, Engimawing and Rey for the new forum design (and polls! :D ). It was a nice surprise. :)

I love how it shows you posts that have been made while you were typing. :P

Looks good! But does the search function finally work properly now? Let's give it a test...

Earlier today the forum was set up with the username and avatar on the left. It's been fixed since then.

I'm glad that PatrickvD started this thread. I came to the forum using a new browser and because of the new look, I didn't want to log in at first. So I went back to my old browser to make sure that it was indeed the correct website. I was so confused for a bit but no longer confused. I am also glad that this whole Avatar/Username on the left/right is finally cleared up. My understanding is that with this update to the forum, the avatar/username was on the right but was later corrected/updated to be back on the left because that that is where it is for me and has always been that way for me. A big change to get used to but we all need changes. Thanks for all your hard work Luke, enigmawing, and Rey. :eye:

Yeah, I like the upgrade to a new system, but I find the forum look to be a tad on the generic side, since just about every other phpBB forum done by anybody with an Internet connection looks exactly like this.

I second this. Can this be done?
