My problem is that some points were from Disney dvds that I no longer have b/c I have traded them in when upgrading to bluray, or they are from friends that don't use the points. I guess that's why it's easier to just redeem for lower priced items.
The first thing you do is get a printout of all the points that you had submitted. They will help you out on that. From that point on, what I did was to cut out the proofs of purchase from each DVD or Blu-ray that I owned and attached it next to the corresponding points. Luckily for me, I had a lot of them. For those I did not (such as getting rid of DVDs that I had upgraded to Blu-ray), I attached a note to those points. From what I understand, if you show at least 50 to 60% of the points achieved, you are okay.
I wouldn't want to cut up my packaging though. I wonder at what point range do you have to do this?

That's good to know; I always wondered if you had to account for every point. Of course you usually won't have 100% of your points from magic codes anyway, between promotional codes and bonus point opportunities.

Looks to be 15,000 points and up, based on the prizes currently available. They tell you when they require proofs of purchase in the reward description.

Ah, good. They should have a better way of doing that... like just pictures with you and your collection or something.

You guys... I only need four more codes before 15k and I have all those films pre-ordered. :o It's literally taken six years ahaha. I'm also a little nervous about having to cut up my movies packaging, though. Has anyone been on the tour in Burbank?

Uh, I might obtain an extra code from the recent Peter Pan release tomorrow.

If you're interested in it and have a code to trade, PM me.

Yep, this definitely happened, so the offer stands.

I won 25 Points and Printable stickers through the Feel Like a Million Giveaway

Not too shabby considering I only entered for free once. I don't waste my points on 75 entries

Movie ticket

Post by Lorddh »

Does anyone know if the movie tickets worth $10 dollars, that you can get for 425 points, can be used for other movies that aren't Disney? There aren't any out in theaters right now, anyway.

From Facebook
Congratulations to Disney Pixar & Brave for winning the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature! Enter "MERIDA" on DMR to get 15 Bonus Points!
Also the $10 movie ticket money I'm pretty sure is only Disney. I wouldn't risk it if I were you. Oz The Great and Powerful will be coming out in two weeks you could use the movie money there

Careful with the link Avaitor posted. My anti-virus programme says it has a Trojan Horse virus on it.

I just recently joined DMR and redeemed one magic code from Ratotoullie Blu-ray. Got 150 points. I have 7 other Disney blu-rays but they don't have inserts. Guess I probably threw them away not knowing they had points on them. Is there anway to get the points if I prove I own the DVD?

"Missing Magic Code?" icon in the top toolbar after you're signed into DMR (looks like a CD/DVD case with an "X" through it).

Then just upload a photo of your blu rays alongside their original receipts, confirming the eligibility of their purchase dates.

Is that the only way? I keep most of my reciepts, but I doubt I'd be able to tell which one was for which blu-ray. And even if I could, I have too many. I'll look though.

Do you guy want a way to earn some cheap points? Check out GoodWill. My local stores have a shitload of spare unopened DVDs from ABC and Disney Channel, including the first season of Hannah Montana, singles of it and the Jonas show, some of their original movies, and other stuff. Since these are unopened and supposedly unused, they should still come with DMR codes that'll be eligible if you use them.

Check to see if your local GoodWills have any of these.
