I agree. I wasn't very close to him like others here, but I thought he was hilarious, intelligent and charming, so I was really sad to see him go. But, again, I don't really blame him either.

Dr Frankenollie wrote:I was hoping that Lazario would come back after his suspension ended. At least I can still find him on other forums.

Goliath isn't banned or suspended, he simply stopped posting. The last time he was here was to thank people for wishing him a happy birthday.
When he came back from his suspension, he apologized for his behaviour but complained that we forum members in general were too sensitive. One of his last posts here resulted in a member overreacting to a post of his and I think that was what made him give up on this forum.

In general, this forum really seems a lot less active than even from when I first joined, which wasn't long ago.

Also I asked Escapay if I could use his signature series of WIST AND WTF

WIST MEANS Wish I said That

WTF means well I'll let you figure it out :P

:? According to his profile, Lazario is still suspended, and has been since September (when he attacked SA).

He is referring to Goliath. Lazario would never say the forum is too sensitive considering he gets overly emotional and sensitive about crap to begin with such as his odd perceive delusion that I was "attacking" sleeping beauty when I made my critique of it.

You do know that Luke is the webmaster and currently doing many reviews or do you mean you just miss him around the forums

I miss him around the forums to but right now he is running this website like a One Man Band with reviewing movies day in and day out. I shoot him an email every now and then and he's doing fine but he's paying more money into this site than it's producing thanks to the damage that was done from that Google Hell thing

That's why I get annoyed when people complain about the forum's issues (even though they're deserved). I just hope Luke doesn't give up the site in the future, and that it starts pulling in some more $$$. *nervous*

I miss his posts here, too, though they are often far between sometimes. :)

I posted this in the forum overhaul thread But I'll post it here too since it's even more likely to be seen and since you brought up the future of this site and all

Imagine the following statement to this theme music

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DhlPAj38rHc" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Has anyone contacted Luke or am I as usual the only one doing so

I have contacted Luke earlier today but haven't heard back from him.

However I've contacted Luke many times with threads very similar to this thread and do you want to where they are? They are buried in the deep sections of the Off Topic. So many times this type of thread is all talk and no action and it seems this one is too. Luke doesn't come on this forum hardly anymore because he's doing reviews. Someone other than me has to step up and contact and talk with Luke about ideas other than me. If any of you want to try to make a difference, don't let this thread get buried. and most of All thanks Luke for creating this place. Without him none of this would be possible. Show him there's more than me who's backs up talk with the action

tsdvd@yahoo.com is Luke's Email. Make a difference

Well it was very nice to see my name mentioned in this thread. Alas, my busy life sadly keeps me away from message boards most of the time these days, but I'm still around (and still very involved in the Disney fan community)! I do miss my many friends here, and it's always great to see discussion still going full-steam on the forum. Just know that I'm never gone for good!

I'm so glad to see you posting. I've been missing you too. Glad to know you will never be gone for good.

Yeah, that really is odd given your username and a few of your old avatars.

Didn't one of them (or both) in Hearless's Disney Forum back during the Google crisis actually say Moderation is too strict here? As a member of several forums, I can say for a certainty that this forum is the least strict out of all of them. If the moderators here were less strict they wouldn't be moderating. I give the moderators a lot of credit as I know their job is a thankless one.

I don't recall us (or at least I myself didn't) say it was too strict. CJ has made some stupid moves though like the one time she deleted my entire post in Top 10 thread that took my hours to make all because I put some crude humor in there. Could at the very least gave me a warning or advise me to edit it.

Other than that the mod here is too lenient that to the point I barely see any moderation going on here. Hell it seems only one mod exist in this forum(CJ) and that's it. most forums have many mods.

Good point. :)

Threads about it here:

I remembered wrong though on who was saying what.

I do think the moderators are much less strict here than on other forums. I think the tone of the forum, before some members came, was so different that the moderators didn't see any need to interfere with the forum much. Most other forums I visit can easily devolve into arguments, so I think the mods know what to expect and how to deal with it, where this place was (and still is, in some ways) more easygoing and that rarely happened.

The few times the moderators actually do something on this forum, people have jumped all over them. So I do congratulate them. They do have a thankless job. (I have been a mod on another forum before, so that might be why I sympathize.)
