oz the great and powerful soundtrack????

does anyone know if disney is releasing the soundtrack to oz the great and powerful?? amazon.com only has posted a MP3 DOWNLOAD ONLY???? i want the actual cd disc not a damn download. ive checked numerous sites and nobody has it for sale. even DMR website does not even have it posted on the coming soon section??? what the hell. i know danny elfman did the score etc......come on disney whats up???

I think it's only getting an MP3 release at this point. Which is ashame because I would have bought that soundtrack. Oh well, I can at least buy it and burn it to a a CD

Intrada are releasing the OZ soundtrack same week as opening of film...go to the Intrada web site for more details....It was announced on their web site a couple of weeks ago...so check in early March...

well intrada just posted the soundtrack for oz the great and powerful. i just bought it :) they also have up for sale disneys those calloways soundtrack as well.

Those Calloways is one of my favorite Disney films. It's really an overlooked gem. The family dynamic and the mood of the film is unlike most Disney titles of its time. Ed Wynn and Walter Brennan have fantastic supporting roles. I can't say the soundtrack ever stood out much to me, but it's great that these lesser known titles continue to receive soundtrack releases from Intrada. I just wish they didn't issue some as limited releases...or they should make an unlimited downloadable version available also.
