Hilary vs. Lindsay
VH-1 (I have GOT to stop watching... all the shows have the same cast!) is playing up the feud between these two Disney darlings on their new Celebrity Beef special. It's petty drama, but being a Disney fan, I was wondering, who do you side with or like better? And why? While it is a poll, feel free to add discussion.
The annoying details of their feud.
The point about the rivalry being Disney-born is an interesting one, though. The TV special goes further than the article, however, showing that the two have aparently (at least publicly) made up. Actually, all they showed was Lindsay milking the fact that she was ready to bury the hatchet- I saw nothing from Hilary.
While I do like Lindsay, it's Hilary all the way for me.

I edited my post. Apparently that constitutes editing the poll.

Well this was a tough poll though I think they are both good at what they do I voted for Lindsay I mean if you want to get technical Lindsaywas the little pre queen of Disney filming the pearent trap and then soon after came Hilary Duff in the Lizzie Mcguire movie. And Lindsay has made many other Disney movies while Hilary has only played one major role Lizzie. Okay but besides that I cant stand that the Hilary is a singer she is a great little actress but i cant stand her voice i think the one thing that does save her is that she has a great team of writers that make her songs all catchy but Lindsay has a great voice and the songs she has done sound pretty good. My vote went to Lindsay.
And oh yes this might sound like a stupid question but exactley what is the Hilary and Lindsay Fued about ?

Personally? I think Lindsay Lohan can act. Loved her performance in Parent Trap, and Life-Size and Freaky Friday were both solid. However, I can't stand anything Hilliary Duff does. Watched a couple episodes of Lizzie McGuire once, hated it. The trailers for her movies, Lizzie and otheriwse, look bad, too, so I have since tried to steer clear of her. To be fair, maybe my lack of enthusiasm for her projects is a result of her picking projects that just don't do it for me, but I'm just not too impressed with her.

I mostly agree with Jake (again, as usual
). Lindsay can act and is making SOME sort of attempt to diversify her roles whereas I find Hillary bland, mostly because she plays the same character in every film/show (even if they all have different names). Also, I probably shouldn't let trashy gossip get in the way, but Hillary comes across as a real snob to me, though it's possible that it's just the press/jealous people trying to make her look bad.

I hate Hilary!
she annoys me to my boiling point because she's every where and there's tons of young actresses everywhere that are better than her. Plus: she plays the same type characters all the time
. On the other hand, I love Lindsay!
she doesn't annoy me to my boiling point because she's everywhere and she's a very talented young actress. Plus:She plays different types characters
PLUS: Hilary's music blows. Lindsay's rocks!

I posted this in the press reasle of Confessions of a Drama Queen thread but I think it applys here and was wondering if thier little fude became worse by this...
In 2003, Lindsay accepted the lead role in Disney's Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (originally a New Line project written for Hilary Duff, who had to pass due to her full schedule). Filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and in New York City, Queen is set for release early in 2004.
I was just surfing and went to Lindsay Lohans Offical website and I found this there LLRocks.com is the site for those of you are intreasted in reading mroe about her.

Lohan was on a soap. That's all I need to know.
For anyone too lazy to click and scroll on Aaron's link, here it is...
At first, both were okay. They were those "Aw, what cute kids" actors. Lohan was on a soap (Another World as Alli Fowler), Duff had that Casper movie. Then, of course, they grew up. Duff became the plastic prepackaged blonde teen idol that all little girls wanted to be and all teenage boys wanted to do. Lohan became...well, the same thing, except she was more "rough around the edges", so to speak. She was more...grungy, I guess, while Duff was still trying to be a 12 year old and a 17 year old at the same time to appease little girls and teenage boys, respectively.
After they grew up, I found Duff to be extremely annoying, with a nasal singing voice, and couldn't even enjoy the early episodes of Lizzie McGuire when she wasn't such a pop princess. Lohan won my approval by default (although it can be argued that I favor her because of her soap opera roots).
I absolutely refuse to even try to watch Duff's new movies (Cinderella Story would have been too teenybopper for me anyway regardless if she was in the role or not), and I'm a bit selective of Lohan's (Drama Queen just looked rather boring to me, but my mom's a big Lohan fan so we may end up renting it), but I'd prefer having Lohan on my screen rather than Duff.
Also, a bit more gossip about Duff/Lohan: (not sure which is true and which isn't, as it's all gossip)
Aaron Carter had been going out with Lohan, then started going out with Duff, then dumped Lohan, continued with Duff.
At the CBTD premiere, Duff did try and get Lohan to leave, so Lohan did leave, just to be the bigger person.
Lohan sometimes ends public appearances with an "I Love You, Hilary!" to try and make peace (so if this is true, they're still at odds with each other?).
To my knowledge, the "Lindsay Lohan takes Duff's rejected roles" thing only applies to Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. But I'm sure every other role Lohan will get will be called a Duff-Rejection by some fanatic Duff fans, solely to discredit Lohan.
Did I also mention that Lohan was on a soap?

Anyways, my $0.02Hilary Duff vs. Lindsay Lohan
This feud kicked off when Duff started dating Lohan's ex, Aaron Carter. Then Duff showed up at Lohan's Freaky Friday premiere, some say to intentionally upset her. Things really got heated when Duff realized Lohan was at the premiere party for Cheaper By the Dozen. Her mom went to Universal executives to have Lohan kicked out, but the execs said she was an invited guest and she could stay. This feud may go back even farther as both were up for many of the same roles while at Disney.

Looks like MMP and I are alone on this, lol.
*Sigh* I love Hilary.

Ugh, but she does it with such a prissy tone. I think it's an attempt to appear to be the bigger person, when in fact it's just a childish swipe at Hilary. It's sarcasm combined with a sympathy ploy. Has Hilary responded? If not, I applaud her. In fact, it reminds me of something the "mean girls" would do (based on trailers). To me, Lindsay is extremely transparent. Yes, she's rough around the edges, but that's exactly the image she's molded herself to fit. It's her demographic. Her yin to Duff's yang. If anything, Aaron "Mom Wants My Money" Carter is to blame for playing them. But then with his brother dating Paris Hilton, I guess he's lacking a good role model in that department, lol.Escapay wrote:Lohan sometimes ends public appearances with an "I Love You, Hilary!" to try and make peace (so if this is true, they're still at odds with each other?).

Wow! I hope Hilary doesn't come here.
Unfortunately, she was beaten big time by Lindsay.

I guess people prefer Lindsay Lohan anyday for Hilliary Duff.
True Lindsay has been far popular then Hilliary Duff but I love Hilliary Duff when she sings in my opinion she sings better then Brittany and Christina.

Hillary vs. Duff
I think they are both
. so I don't like either one of them. They both need to go down, to Dillards, and buy some morals. And maby, pick up some good acting, while they are their.

MMP- Britney, I'll give ya, but better than Christina? No way!!
DG- I actually think Hilary has been very tasteful in what she's done and hasn't come off as immoral at all.
